Subject: Update on Brock

Hello Jean,

We have been using the CD's now for about a month.  We had to share a few extremely exciting new behaviors we've seen.  About a week ago Brock told us about his first dream experience!  He dreamt about our dog that recently passed away.  Also this past weekend we were at a wedding and attended the wedding dance.  Normally Brock would be very nervous about the speakers and microphone and people talking on the microphone.  Also we generally would only be able to stay for maybe one song of the dance because Brock would cover his ears and be very distressed over the loud music.  Well this weekend we danced!!!  We danced and dance and danced and had a blast.  Brock didn't once put his hands on his ears and was smiling dancing have a great time with everyone.  He was so excited and relaxed.  Amazing that one month of the CD's and he no longer has that sound sensory problem.  This alone makes the CD's so worth every penny.

Thank you!!

Jacob has had many moments of "language explosion." I have seen many positive advances (too many to note). I have always seen changes in Jacob after a night's break from the CD's. So far, this seems to be working. I will check back in  again soon. Thanks Jean and Happy Anniversary....Four years of helping families...Wow! I pray these return blessings to you and yours! :)

Also, at school , he is now in special education and is responsding very well. Now that his LEA school's faculty is being made to have mandatory training , Specialists are coming in to my son's school to help him , 1:1 . No Cost to us .... at all. and Yesterday , he hugged his  principal . She almost cried. Words can not express our gratitude.

Subject: Eli's progress

Dear Jean,

I'm writing to let you know of Eli's progress since we got the first of your c.d.s in the mail a couple of weeks ago the mail on Thursday, September 18th.

As I told you, my 7 year old son Eli has a history of a speech and language delay, processing issues, hyperactivity, and behavioral problems that have caused us a lot of difficulties, and he's had a lot of trouble at school (last year he had an I.E.P. in kindergarten and we were told that he should attend "special day" classes instead of being allowed to go on to 1st grade).

My son (who tested very high on a non-verbal I.Q. test) has not yet been clearly diagnosed by a medical professional whom I feel I can trust, although there's been speculation since he was 4 that he may have one or more of the following: autism, sensory processing disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, asperger's syndrome.

Fortunately, we changed schools and Eli is in a regular 1st grade class with a one on one aide where he is now finally doing better overall. The week that I got the package from you, Eli had "meltdowns" every day that week involving hitting, crying, etc,,except when I played your c.d.s on Thursday night and Friday morning, he went to school that day and had no problems whatsoever--a great day!

Since then we've seen a decrease in the "meltdown" incidents, and I've also recently gotten some test results back from the pediatric neurologist whom my (former) pediatrician refused to refer me to (she told me the tests would be a waste of my time and money, and my insurance would not cover it).

These tests show conclusively that my son has heavy metal poisoning, with a toxic level of both mercury and lead in his system. We are treating him for this, and I'm so relieved to be finally moving in a positive, healing direction!

Sincerely,
Melinda

Subject: Hello from Dante's mom!

Hi Jean,

I meant to write you in a couple of weeks so as to be able to give you a better assessment of how the program is going for Dante (started on his 5th birthday, Oct. 7th), but I couldn't wait to give you at least a bit of an idea.  First of all I must admit the following:  I am so afraid that I am in a dream and that I will wake up and realize that none of this exists and Dante is back to where he was 1.5 weeks ago!

I say that with tears in my eyes because our journey has been a long one, filled with inconsistency in Dante's progress and utter frustration for Carlos and me.

I am an optimist, so I've usually thought one good day means the next one will only be better.  But that has never been the case with Dante.  That is why, even though I was very excited to get your CD's last week, I haven't told a soul about what we're doing with him.  I figured that is the best test for the program, as so many people will notice if he (1) is indeed improving and (2) the changes last more than a week!

So interestingly enough, after 2 nights into the program, I had Dante's IEP meeting.  His teacher and therapists were commenting on how cooperative and happy he had been for the last couple of days.  How he was totally "ON".  So eventually they asked, "are you doing anything different with him?"  I smiled but told them that I would like to keep trying some "new things" for a bit before talking about them, and that I couldn't emphasize enough how important their daily feedback on Dante was, as it would let me know if what I am doing is working.  They were dying to know but were totally thrilled to cooperate.

Jean, this conversation occurred exactly 7 days after Dante's teacher had been telling me that she really thought his head banging was a behavioral issue and that we may just have to accept that that's the way he is.  It came 7 days after an intensely frustrating week for us with Dante having no focus and head banging randomly for no apparent reason (although I feel there's always a reason even though I may not know it).  That frustrating week had me at my wit's end on Saturday, my most exhausted day of the week, and that is when I googled "remedy for head banging" and found you.

Anyway, I do intend to write you a clear list of observations on Dante after I've given the program a couple of weeks.  For now I will say the following:

·       I am delighted to see my husband raising the volume on the environment CD and on the parents CD in order for him to hear it better.  This from a man who is uber-sensitive to sound.  He has been calmer and has been enjoying his son more and more as Dante is more connected.  That is the relationship in most need at our home at this point so I am obviously and silently delighted.

·       Dante is crisp and joyful if he hears the night's CD once.  More than once I have noticed he gets somewhat hyper as if he's had 3 cups of coffee.

·       I believe I get a slight headache if I listen to Dante's CDs while I'm awake.  He doesn't seem to

·       I have purchased another CD player to keep the environment CD on 24/7.

Our home was a very happy home this weekend.  As I said at the beginning of my email, I can hardly believe it.  I am on hyper-drive with excitement.

Thank you so much for this wonderful new start.  I pray it is only the beginning,

Mari

Subject: Re: Genet Fwd: Hello from Dante's mom!

I was thrilled to read Mari's report and I rejoice with her for the progress her son is experiencing and the joy that fills her heart.

We have been using the cd's for 5 days now I am still finding a balance for all three of us.

Josiah and Jonah share a room with their beds about 5 feet apart and the cd player in between them.  Jonah goes to bed first and gets them for about an hour before Josiah goes to bed.  A few nights I noticed Jonah sleeping lighter and twice Josiah sleeping lighter.  I do play them more than once each night but I am not playing them non-stop through the night anymore.  I do keep the environmental cd on most of the time.  I have to buy another player so I can have my own for the parent cd. I think finding the right balance for each boy will make a consistent and significant impact on each one.

Josiah has had a massive language explosion. Not just words of his own volition but constant chatter. Playing with tone and frequency and volume of what he is saying. He is requesting more functionally. And more descriptive. For example as we are doing vocabulary flashcards, Baby instead of saying "baby" he is now saying "a baby" What is on this card?  A baby. He is classifying that it is one baby.  His language is flowing easier.  I have not noticed calmer and less head banging but I am hopeful for that. His eye contact is stronger for certain.

Jonah I think is having progress but his is more like hi and low, he's either really great or extremely off. He is able to put his thoughts to words better. He asked his therapist in the middle of therapy today in our home, why some days are good for him and others days are not. He has never made the connection before or even expressed any sense of caring either way.  I believe Jonah is working through some serious emotional stuff right now and I believe it will all work together for good.

I am thrilled to be privileged to share Josiah and Jonah's daily Miracles in Progress.

Thank you.

Kim

Subject: Great day today!!!!!!

Hi Everyone:

Just wanted to share what a great day Arrius had today. We took him for another difficult haircut appointment and was not looking forward to seeing him cry through the whole thing due to his sensory issues. But today, things have definitely changed!! He sat at my lap and was starting to get a little upset. The stylist put on his favorite video to try to distract him a bit. She began to trim the back of his head with scissors and before we knew it, she was done!! For the first time ever, he sat through his haircut without crying. I was stunned and amazed at this progress. I thanked God and the hairstylist for being so wonderful and patient with him. We were so excited that we even had a "Haircut Party" when we got home. Arrius really enjoyed it!!

I started thinking what did I do different that may have made a difference. Well, Arrius has been on Byonetics for 2 years now and has made tremendous progress with it and other multiple interventions. But lately I wasn't putting the Byonetics CDs on as consistently as I should have. But I started playing it again every night for the past 2 weeks. I also started giving him GABA in the mornings. Another thing I decided to do was to try to desensitize him with his hair/scalp hypersensitivities. I started to massage his head every night for about 2 minutes. Every time I brush his hair, I wet it first. We would also play the pretend haircut game. As he is watching TV or on the computer, I would tell him, "OK, its time for your haircut " I would grab his hair in sections and pretend to cut it using my fingers as the pretend scissors. At first, all this was difficult for him but it started getting easier and it got to a point where he wouldn't even protest anymore. Well, I guess a combination of all this, plus God's miracle hand, made the difference and now we are looking forward to more good haircut appointments and haircut parties.!!!!

Subject: 5 week report on Dante

Dear Jean,

At last my son has a positive school review by his teacher!

Ok, so we are basically 5 weeks into using the Byonetics CD's.  We began using the CD's on Oct. 7-2008, when Dante turned 5.  He is non-verbal and uses PECS to communicate basic needs, nothing too complicated.  He has been on the GFCF diet for over a year.  I have also just started the clay baths other parents have recommended, since chelation was too strong on Dante.  The clay baths along with the CD's are phenomenal.

In the past, teacher reviews were mainly focused on some skills they had seen, but nothing that was consistently exhibited by Dante.  I am happy to report the following changes in him:

· He is much more loving.  For example, when you feed him he pulls you by the sleeve and when you are at his level he gives you a hug.  He is always very thankful when you help him with something.

· He is much more aware of his environment and surroundings, for example:

. Once his PT session was over, as Dante is walking away, his therapist says, "Good Job, Dante, give me five!"  He turned around, walked up to her, and slapped her hand.  You know how huge this is for a child who is disconnected by autism!

. Now if he feels his nose is runny or his mouth is dirty, he will wipe his nose/mouth/chin with his arm.  The teacher described this as problem solving, something I have never seen him do.  Another example of problem solving I have seen at home is that he is finally aware of the light switch when in a room.  If he wants to play when his room is dark, he will turn on the light and be happy.  Before he would just remain in the dark.

. He is running down the hall at school and, when he reaches the top of the stairs, he stops, grabs the handrail, and goes down the stairs on his own!  Before he would just dive into the abyss, never aware of the drop in front of him.

· He has never really gone "under" an object.  Now he is crawling through a tunnel following the PT's prompts.

· He is very receptive to have someone join in with him in an activity; he welcomes it.  Following the Son-Rise principles, I decided to join him in his bouncing on the bed last night.  He will bounce himself to sleep once in a while.  So I bounced next to him and made the same sounds he did.  He stopped, looked at me, and gave me a kiss on the mouth.  I have done this on other occasions and he becomes super happy and giggly.  Joining them in "their" world is an awesome way to help them want to join ours, and I believe Byonetics helps that process occur faster!

· He is participating better in social games.  The teacher will say, "I'm going to get you, Dante!" and he sort of curls down in expectation, laughing with the excitement of what is to come.

· He is happier for longer periods of time.

I had met with the teachers 2 days into Byonetics, and they had already noticed some changes.  I did not tell them what it was then.  I told them this Wednesday, and on Thursday I sent in the environmental CD for the classroom and the day CD for nap time.  I think sharing our experiences in detail, with examples, is the best way to have other parents understand how it can help their children.

Thank you, Jean, for sharing this wonderful gift with us,

Mari

Subject: Zinc for Drooling & COLDS!

Dear Byonetics Parents  (Faith!):

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer others parents' concerns!  I am very delighted to write about two very frustrating problems I have successfully addressed through the help of this forum.

First, I received a variety of answers to address Dante's excessive drooling (he is 5 years old).  The drooling had decreased last year, but it got worse after chelation* treatment last Fall and had not gotten better since.    Faith recommended the GFCF diet, which we already do, and Zinc supplements.  The Zinc made sense to me, since it's something he may have lost due to the chelation treatment.

Well, Faith, you'll be happy to know (but not happier than me, believe me!) that the Zinc worked pretty much immediately!!!!  I really can't believe how effective it was.  This child was going through practically 10 bibs/day at school alone!!!  Now he hardly drools, although it does increase at the sign of an impending cold.

Second, an added bonus from the Zinc was for our number ONE concern since chelation:  Dante has been getting a cold approximately every 3 weeks since January.  The week prior to the cold was horrible, with little appetite and LOTS of head banging (very volatile).  All focus was lost and very little progress was made before and during a cold.  The time was pretty much spent making him comfortable and protecting his head.  Well, I think the Zinc has helped with the colds too!  Dante has not had a cold for 6 weeks now, and that is HUGE.  The whole household is deeply impacted by a healthier & happier child, it's amazing.

Note that the homeopathic cold remedy, Cold-eeze, is mainly Zinc Gluconate.  That is the main ingredient in the "Chelated Zinc" caplets you can easily purchase by Nature's Bounty.  I'm grinding the tablets and giving about 1/4 of a 50mg pill in his morning orange juice.

So thank you from the bottom of my heart for your Parent Team-Work.  It is very helpful!

Hi Jean,

I do believe that there is an increase in his energy, Now we are in his second week....He still gets up in the middle of the night, however prior to starting the CD's he would wake up and get into all kinds of things and make a huge mess to clean in the morning. He is no longer doing that. He is waking and playing with his toys or the dog. Believe me this is a good thing. He is also starting to participate in more activities. I sincerely appreciate all your recommendations.

Jean,

I wanted to give you an update on Nathan's progress.  He has been on the CDs (in addition to speech, occupational, group/social therapies) for about 7 1/2 months now.  He is talking a lot more, still using a lot of memorized phrases, but he is using some spontaneous language, as well.  We just completed his 6 year old eligibility (for special ed services) meeting with the school, and while everyone recognizes that he has some sensory issues and obvious communication problems, he is making significant improvements.  In fact, in an overall adaptability assessment, he scored extactly at his age (6 years, 0 months), although his specific score in the communications area was still below par.  He did something else interesting the other day - his older cousin walked into our house and Nathan ran up to him, hugged him, and said, "Hi, Ethan!"  This is a major milestone, as he's always been shy and oblivious to anyone else being in the house.  He continues to amaze us all the time - the combination of CDs, therapies, and increased play and interaction with his siblings all seem to be working to his advantage.  It has helped tremendously that his younger brothers (ages 4 and 2.5) have become more verbal - it's like they're pushing him to talk.  Let's hope the positive trend continues!

Thanks for all you do!

Micah can now line up the music to a tv show like sid the science kid with the same music on computer and a dvd all at the same time and all in unison. Also, he can watch and interact with the computer and be scripting and interacting with a dvd in the player across the room at the same time. Also, he watches the NASA channel and then lines up articles and pictures in books and on dvd that match the subject on the NASA channel (literally match) and runs them at the same time. It amazes me how his mind can multi task so much at once.  Everyday we are closer to recovery.

Dear Jean,

Today is our two week anniversary on Byonetics and my husband and I are already seeing changes.  We started using the CD's on January 22nd and on January 30th I also changed their diets to GF/CF/Soy Free/Sugar Free (you name it and I took it out of their diet).  Two weeks ago we were looking for a hospital to admit Jonah to because of his self injurious behavior.  This past Monday we had a follow up with one of our doctors (a psychiatrist) who thinks that the answer to Autism is managing the symptoms with medication.  Put a band aid on it and hope for the best.  He was surprise to see Jonah calmer (he is still hyper but it is tolerable) and engaging.  Jonah has better eye contact and seems to be happier.  The self injurious behavior has been reduced by 75-85 percent.  Does he still get frustrated yes but he handles it better and his tantrums are not near as long.  He is following verbal instructions, he is laughing and he is asking for help appropriately, he is actually doing school work again without me fighting him.  He also started listening to favorite CD's.  This is new to him as he has until now not wanted to wear ear phones.  It is nothing short a miracle that Jonah is doing so well.  I can't wait to see what the coming months will bring!

Josh, as well, seems to be doing better, he is still ten and going through the things that adolescences go through.  I have seen fewer tics in him over the last week.  I do think his ADHD is better controlled but we still have a ways to go.  I hold out hope that in the near future Josh will begin to turn the corner.

I am so thankful that God led me to you and Byonetics and I pray that He continues to heal our children. Thank you for all that you do to help families fighting to save their children from being swallowed by Autism.

Looking forward to blessings ahead,

Cyndie and Rick Hale

Update on Jordan - We got her second CD and just in time as her first CD for some reason won't keep playing.
It gets so far then starts to make a clicking noise and won't continue.  I checked it to see if it had any smudges
but it was clean.  I think we need to keep using it so you will have to send a new one or is it the same as the
parent one?

Jordan appears to be calmer and sleeping better.  We have taken her off all her night time medications that help her sleep.
She's not sleeping through the night but goes back to sleep immediately after I go into her room.  She was biting and
picking at her feet to the point of bleeding for the past 2 months, this has also appeared to minimize.

Thanks,

Robin Utley

Dear Jean,

This is Pam Belen, Ijust want to update you on my son Jed. He started with the light and the first cd on Feb. 17, 2009. Together with a nightly massage to my son, we noticed that he's been sleeping deeply now. Thanks to everyone for all the informative emails that I received daily. But for my son to sleep good at night is such a blessing.

Hi Jean,

We are using CD's nearly 4 month time. Kaan is 34 month old now. As you know diagnosed as PDD-NOS. Psychiatrist is certain that he is not an autistic boy. This 4 month time he has improved a lot. He is very happy boy, sleep well. Has no eye contact problem. He expresses his needs (still not with words) by showing, pointing etc. He has a great sense of humour. He is joking, laughing very much. Very much curious about new things. Has no problem with other people, for example he can kiss them, hug them. Repetitive movements has gone. Increased relation with his father. (Previously less than today).

We are only waiting his words. He has many like sounds but not clear words. Hope will come soon.
I am sure after having progress on speaking we will be out of spectrum in near future.

Best Regards,

Kaan

Subject: Ivan's doing great!

Hi. We have been using the Byonetics program since the end of January for our son with autism. We experimented with it for a couple weeks until we got it just right.  For our son, all through the night was too much because he does sleep lightly in the morning, and he was getting up way too early, around 4 a.m. We then tried playing it only once, right after he fell asleep, but we felt this just wasn't enough play. What we did was experimented with  a timer. Ivan now falls asleep between 7 and 8 p.m.  We put on Byonetics as soon as he falls asleep and the timer shuts off at about 2:30 a.m.  Ivan sleeps much more soundly now since we started the Byonetics program. Especially after receiving the 2nd disc.  We are so excited to receive the 3rd disc. I want all them switches to get a work out!!  Lots of luck!!

Hi Jean,

Here is an update on Dallen Boudrero.  He has now been using the Byonetics program for 6 1/2 months.  Dallen is now 9 years old.  Some things we have noticed are:  He was struggling a lot with math (simple addition and subtraction) but in the last little while multiplication has just clicked and he loves it, and knows the basics well!  He has also been coloring using more detail, with multiple colors and not just scribbling.  Although we still struggle a lot with stuttering he is usually pretty even tempered and is behaving well at school.  He is also reading at his own grade level!  What a sweet kid and what a blessing to have Byonetics!

Thanks,
Haylie

Hi Jean,

I just want to update with you on Kyle.  It has been about 8 weeks now
and there are a lot of improvements I see from him.  e.i. He can ask
for food like "I would like to eat, greets guests, plays with other
kids and actively plays with my 3 year old daughter...it's so amazing
when I observed the two, he is always protected of her.  For example,
when I faked to be mean to my 3 year old daughter, Kyle would come and
nagged at me or pulled me away!  There's more but this so far has made
me very happy.  Just a word for parents out there who are in this
program...have patience, healing will come.  Our children have been
exposed to alot of toxins.

Thanks so much.

Hi Jean,

So far, we've only been using the sleep disk. If this is just one sample of what Byonetics does, I am ready. Ryan has gone from almost zero attention in two weeks to a different person. It's like I have a person in my house that left years ago and came back. His eyes even look different. They used to look glazed and frankly crazy. He would have to have nagging to get him to pay close enough attention to do the simplest things. He was getting progressively worse with his "monkey" grunts and pacing. This morning, I didn't have to nag him to get dressed, he did that all on his own. He sat down and ate without pacing around the table every bite. His eyes look clear and here in this world. What an unbelievable difference.

Thank you.

Hi,

This is Carolyn McKinney. my daughter is Ashley White, and she just started your CD's two weeks ago.  at first, when i told her about them (before we got them in the mail), she wasn't very happy.  (she's 17 tomorrow).  however, from the second i turned it on, she loves it.  she even told me after the first night it made her feel safe.  and i never mentioned to her that concept!

i'm not sure if this has anything to do with your program, but since she has started, she has been talking to me about how she is feeling "all these emotions" and how scarey they are.  and her response to these emotions is not aggression, but crying!  which for her usually comes after aggression.  she says she is having problems figuring out how to deal with all these feelings at once.  i've never heard her even talk about feelings, things have always been one of two way, right or wrong, or black and white, etc could this be a response to the cd's and so quickly?  she puts the cd's on at night herself! what a blessing, and it is absolutely helping her sleep (which has been a problem).

your thoughts?

thanks!

Subject: Aaron Progress in just two weeks

Jean,

It has been two weeks since Aaron has started listening to the CD's. His progress has been wonderful... The first evening after listening to the CD he came up and asked for what he wanted (using his known phrase "I want sandwich please") instead of just hovering over me and waiting for me to ask him "what do you want?" before answering with "I want..." Also after giving him his sandwich he said an un-prompted "Thank You", My husband and I looked at each other in shock for a second before remembering to reply with a "your welcome" it was such an amazing thing. I could tell he really meant it (actually understanding its meaning) instead of just repeating like always before.

He also interacts better with his little sister, they sometimes carry out extremely simple one-to-two word conversations togeather (she is two years old) whereas before he would just push her away when she tried interacting with him.

I am glad that I have taken a chance on this program, the progress that has happened over just a few short weeks is enough to justify getting it.

Very sincerely,
Jacie

Joey is doing well; he has been so v. happy and still not taking any melatonin.  He has become much more sociable lately, before he would just observe but now he beelines to where there are kids and joins in with them, which is amazing. The other day, there was a group of kids playing soccer on a field and he went right into the middle of the game and his therapist took him to the playground where there was a 4 way see saw and one slot open and he took it. So that's really really amazing.  Aggression is still there but much lower and this whole week at school he hasn't had any (I don't remember the last time that happened at school). I don't know if it's wishful thinking on my part, but I really do think the CDs are making a difference, thank you so very much.

Chaz is now able to sit for periods of up to an hour and focus on reading and other academics which two years ago would have been impossible.  It''s been the combination of Jean's CD's, gf/cf diet, ABA/VB therapy, music therapy, surfing, horseback riding and lots of patience, but his progress has been nothing short of a miracle.  Our last hurdle is getting him toilet trained (he's six), but yesterday at the movies, he stopped right in the middle of a movie and announced that he needed to go poop and HE DID IT!

Jean,

I just wanted to give you an update on Gabriel's progress. He started the Byonectics CD program 5/21/08 and has been on the CD's everynight eversince. We see changes in him everyday. Gabriel has food sensitivities to wheat, barley, corn, egg, soy, peanuts and the list goes on. When we shop for food he occasionally brings an item of interest to him to me and ask me if he can have it. I show him the ingredients and explain to him that it contains wheat or corn or whatever that he can not have it and we put the item back with no tantrums. Well on Sunday he was trying to get his Dad to look at some frozen french toast sticks but Dad was busy so he picked up the items, read the ingredients and said "I can have these" I checked the ingredients and indeed the it was safe for him to eat. This is the first time we have seen him make an independent decision like that. He was very proud of himself and so were we. He is really more grounded now and spends more time in
our world instead of his own.

Thank you for developing this program.

I don't know where he would be right now without it !

As for Antonio who is about to be 2 years old on September 10 is making progress already.  He is more attentive. He looks for us now and does not want to be by himself at times.  He has reduced significantly the amount of times that he puts objects in his mouth.  He has learned to play with his toys like sorting shapes in a cube and play with 3 piece puzzles correctly.  He also has learned to feed desserts to himself with a spoon and has recently said "papapapa" and "yayayaya" when he had not said that before.

Thank you again for the CD's because we feel that it is working for Antonio.

Sincerely,
David

My daughter, Megan, continues to listen to the your CDs every day of the week and reads the daily messages. She is improving in her behavior and showing new initiative.

We are seeing good results for her: less anxiety, less frustration, more initiative and happiness.

Thanks for everything you do.

Subject: Sean's significant improvements

Hi Jean,

We are so glad and happy to inform you of Sean's significant improvements with just more than a week of listening to CD-1 every night. Before using the 1st Byonetics CD, Sean could not stay put for even just 5 minutes in one place particularly in the living room and the kitchen area. When he wakes up and comes downstairs, he goes straight to the master bedroom where he unceasingly taps anything to the wall. He even stopped watching his favorite children DVD's. But now, he stays at the living room watching attentively to his favorite DVDs more frequently and longer than ever before. In fact, there was even one time last week that he was able to finish the whole Barney and friends DVD without moving from where he was. We were so elated to see him did that. We are grateful for your Byonetics program. We attribute Sean's improvements to the Byonetics CD's and our strong and firm faith that he will finally be free from autism in the near future.

Hi Jean,

I have seen some changes in Mason.  He is calmer, happier, and regulates easier.  The biggest thing is that he is protesting more, which is great!   He is 2, that is what 2 year olds do.  Protests are just as important as smiles.  It definitely goes against the grain to say that, but that is what his developmental therapist says.  He also started cuddling his "glo-worm", which he hasn't done since before the regression.  Cool things.

I just want to say thanks to Jean and everyone.  It is great reading everyone's e-mails and getting responses back from some of you to mine!  It is inspiring, reassuring, and informative!

Sabrina has cut down on her supplements from 20 to 5 for about 1 month now, stopped the DMSA, have been doing the magnetic clay baths, and of course byonetics, and a "biggie", cut down on other food allergens.  I guess sensitivity to food dyes cannot be tested?  We eliminated food dyes.  She has stopped perseverative behaviors such as picking at her feet and hands, and rubbing her fingers on all crevices and corners of objects.  She is happy, alert, and started picking up toys and actually playing with them on her own the past few days!  Lots of progress!  The clay baths are a natural chelator that we are sticking with!  Thanks for everyone's advice and input!

Hello Jean,

We too would like to add our sincere thanks !

The autism battle impacts on every aspect of all of our lives. It is good to share and to gain knowledge from all those out there on the front lines...doing the leg work. A lot of parents on your forum are far more knowledgable then some of the "professionals" from whom we seek help.

It gives us courage, hope and inspiration when we are a part of this network that you have created Jean !

As you say regularly Jean, "Take care to share".

We may never really realise the impact of what we all pass on through our own experiences, Collectively, it helps us and other families progress positively along on the journey to gaining back our sons and daughters. It is heartening and reassuring to be a part of this positive force, when the day by days sometimes seem without light.

Thank you again Jean,

Subject: First update on Aaron, almost 7 yrs old

Hi Jean,

I just wanted to give you an update.

My son, Aaron, is in 1st grade Spec. Ed. class.  He was diagnosed with moderate to severe Autism.  I have a log from teacher of his daily performance in the class and almost everyday there were either tantrums, refusal to do activities, refusal to eat his food or not participating.

We started Byonetics on Friday, Sept 18.  By Thursday, Sept 24, the teacher's note was all praised like behaved well, followed directions, big helper and used his words when he wanted something with a little bit of prompting.  No notes from teacher on Friday.  On Monday, Sept 28, Aaron learned the + airplane + girl for site words, and he had a good day.  Yesterday's notes said, "Aaron is really responding well when prompted to use his words instead of throwing a tantrum.  When he got upset he was reminded to use his words to express himself appropriately."  But the amazing thing happened at home last night.  He was able to finished going through two small books of shapes and first words with me.  With the shape book, he even recited the letters of each shape.  He used to have very short attention span and coudn't even finish one small book.  We were building a toy tent and I started singing 'Bob the Builder' song.  After I finished singing, he sang the song and only missed a couple of words.  Both my older son and I were looking at each other in disbelief.  Oh and in the afternoon when he was taking photos of us (he enjoys taking photos of everything specially purple things), he said "make happy face!"  He started to be more interactive with us, more focus, longer attention, less tantrum, and better eye contact.   Oh and Aaron's day was usually spent watching movie on his dvd player and played parts of the movie over and over.  When we used to hide the dvd, he used to have major tantrum until we give up and gave it back to him.  We took the dvd and put it away for good on Monday, but guess what, he only asked for it yesterday and today and at both times i told him it's broken, but he never complained and no tantrum.   I think he is enjoying this change too since he is more connected with us.

I can't wait to see what other improvements we are going to see as we continue on our journey with Byonetics.

Thanks
Lorie Anne

 Dear Jean,
Andrew started listening to his CD on Sept 16th and I have already noticed some changes in his overall behavior. He is much calmer, just a few less intense and very short tantrums. There has been no agression in these past 14 days, he used to get one every 2 days on an average. Anyone having a phone conversation used to set him off but that also has not happen since the 16th. This is a big deal!!.  Andrew had a banana for the first time in over 5 years. He would always refuse whenever he was offered one.
I am looking forward to many more changes in the days ahead.

Libby,
I believe that the Byonetics has really changed things for us.
After 2 weeks, my family and I we were driving in the car. My daughter
was playing her DS. We were having a conversation. My 17yr old
realize that my daughter was talking to all of us while she was playing
her game. She has continued to be more engaged, adding to conversation.
The other day she actually pretended with someone, that she didn't know
something, to see what their reaction was to the question, she was asking.
Her anxiety is 80% better now. She is putting things away in her room
without be asked. Her tics are almost gone, 90% better. All day Halloween
she was independently preparing...she cleaned out 3 pumpkins and did the
design on all three, with the little pokey thing, hard work. Never stopped or
lost interest, she was loving it. She is so happy. The other night she did work
for school as usual. When I asked if she wanted me to take a look, she said
"you know what Mom, I learn more when you don't help." She then made it
clear that she didn't want to hurt my feelings, but that's how it was. WOW!!! I
almost cried. Handwriting is better. She missed her brother while he went
away for 2 days, gave him a gigantic hug when he walked through the door...
crazy!

Good luck-
Kim

Kripa,
I want to share with you my experience with Byonetic with my son,
(who at that time was 5 and 1/2 year old) and this is the honest truth
I saw and remember too well. This is my experience with my son only,
others may experience differently. But I know that its always positive
outcome. Prior to Byonetic, my son was very agitated, stimmed, up
almost all night, no eye contact, lots of tantrums, cry almost all the time,
doesn't recognize name, no speech, not even one or two words, having
very hard time at school, unstable-don't like to change from one
environment to another. After I put him on Byonetic, the first few nights,
I have the CD run all night, he was very hyper, up all night, restless, etc.
So I email Jean, and he advised me to run for the end of the CD only
and see if anything change...I did as that and for 1 week later, I could
not believe how calm, sleep through out the night not even up once,
I mean all night through, no jumping up or down the bed anymore!
And many more positive changes.
I really appreciate Jean and Byonetic. From the bottom of my heart,
I know that he saves my son to be connected. You got nothing to lose.
I was skeptic but I am glad I give it a try. I NEVER REGRETED IT!

Hi Jean
You have not heard much from me since I started buying your software
for Shayna several month back. We have been using it for over 3 months
now and we are seeing some amazing changes.

Her teachers are commenting and many of the promblems we were
experiencing are now going away. She is almost 4 and had trouble
socializing with other 3/4 year old kids. all the other issues we had with
her autism we reversed. Eye contact with us came, hugging and kissing
came, no more head banging and angry tantrums. She is fully talking
now and is almost the same as her twin sister without Autism. Eating is
still kinda weird. We have not been able to fix the Social part. She will
not play with kids, is afraid of strangers and does not make any friends.

We got your product and now this is finally changing. The teacher sent
us a report saying the past few months have been a major break thru in
her social behavior. she is playing with friends and told the teacher she
does not want to be shy anymore. At first we said maybe she just grew
out of it, but I believe it was the product and we will keep using it. I feel
the switches are repairing themselves just as you said. She now goes to
gymnastics and loves dance class. This was not possible before. I love
recoding her at dance playing with all the other kids.

What breaks our heart is that two years ago in the same school, many of
the other kids are not changing at all.The parents keep asking why is
Shayna progressing so rapidly. We tell them all the things we have done
but none ever really ask for any information to try it as well.

At any rate, we are amazed and so grateful.

Thank you,
Amy

Dear Jean,

We have now completed all the CDs 1-7. Clayton is still listening to the
7th CD. He has made some improvements in social skills, better eye
contact, and he is actually thinking about how he is going to tell us
something before he speaks. He now can actually identify coins and
can count up some coin change and tell you how much money you
have in front of him. This is amazing---he never has been able to grasp
the concept of counting money(coins) and identifying each coin and its
amount. Clayton automatically turns on his CD player with his CD before
jumping into bed for bedtime. We play the CD continously until he gets
up for school the next morning. It is part of his routine. I have let the
teachers and counselor at his middle school review the literature on
bionetic therapy that I have copied from your wonderful email info.
They were all very impressed and excited to see changes in Clayton
while he is at school.

Thanks again.

Just like to thank you for the Byonetics CD that we had used for almost two years.  Our daughter Rose had joined the regular kindergarteen class and she had been a big miracle to everybody who knows and works with her.  Her "Autism" diagnosis had been taken out from the School's Record and she is blending well with her classmates.  Nobody would even noticed what she had been through.

So to all the parents who are still battling over this diagnosis with their children, my advice is to continue and most of all don't forget to call upon the Almighty God! He will surely answer your prayer as He did to us!!!

Hello Jean and your group" Happy new year to you all! l hope it's a great year for you all."

Just thought l'd let you know how Steven's going after 6 nights litening to the CDs. He is
no longer high in an other dimention, seemed that way from the outside, half here and
half there.

l took him for a walk yesterday and he enjoyed it. Normally he walks along holding his ears, to help him block out the noise. Steven has typed in in his notebook that his tinnittis has gone and his ear pain, as l've said before he has only been able to type in his note book for 3 months, so l had no idea that he had tinittis as well as his ear pain.

He's been on Dr Natasha Campbell Mcbride for a few years, and supplements with the Dan Dr also, there isn't much that l didn't try, believe me. Well, what stands out since he's been doing the CDs is the quietness in the morning. He used to turn the tv up loud, his music player, everything had to be on to block out the noises, his ears were so painful. Steven can even sit with the t.v off now. Wow. He typed yesterday that he is hearing" everything so differently, that everything around him has changed, and that he has to get used to it all, "mum l,m so happy." Steven wants to talk so badly. Ddr has started him on alpha lipoic acid and dmsa. l believe this is going to be our year. l'm so excited. Every day brings new things.

Thank you so much Jean, you have given us the hope we were searching for, that's all Steve wanted for Christmas. "Mum l want my ears fixed." All the very best to you and thanks for everything. You are making it possible for all our beautiful children to have a good life, they so much deserve.

God bless

Subject: My son's speech

Hi,

We have been using the cds since the summer / My son was eight last week. We have seen improvements in that he is more "with us," he is less sensitive to noise.  He's acting out by being silly and cheeky. He has also become calmer. However although he is babbling more and there seems to be a bit more speech,  Our doctor says that since his speech is coming there is no reason why it shouldn't continue.

Our son asks for food, says hello and goodbye.  He asks to go to the toilet. Tells us to hurry up. He will tell us that something is sore. Asks us to cut his nails, by saying ...look nails. He can sing songs word perfectly and count. He tells us that he is tired aand says go to bed.He says tickle me and generally the language he uses is very much in context.  He also pretends to cry. he jokingly says " I'm crying. He has also started to become afraid of the dark and says light on.

Best Wishes to everyone

Our son is 5 and he just started with the CDs a week or so ago. We've seen improvements, he's spontaneously saying smallphrases that we've not heard him say before. He's also more "with us", better eye contact and engages his siblings more. He seems happier. We hope for the day that we'll have a conversation with our beautiful boy!  A few weeks ago we were afraid we may have to put him in an institution because he was so difficult to deal with and he's so strong.  Our ABA therapist has seen a real improvement...he even eats at the table now. We're more hopeful in general ourselves!

Hi Audrey,

Your son sounds very similar to our son Chaz, he is saying almost exactly what our son is able to say.  Here's my view.  Chaz is not saying much more than he was already saying before all of the interventions, the HUGE difference is that he is  a VERY happy boy now. Before the CD's and the gf/cf diet and the supplements, he was VERY UNHAPPY!  I can take the autism any day if my son is enjoying life, able to feed himself, is finally sleeping through the night and has the most infectious laugh ever!  Live in the moment with him, embrace who he is now and don't jump to the future, keep doing everything that you can and then just accept him.  You may not ever have a meaningful conversation with him, but you can have LOTS of really fun conversations with him.  I have six kids and Chaz is by far the happiest and most joyful among them.  He brings a lot of joy into our lives, and inspires us every day.  If Chaz can have a great day in spite of blindness, cerebral palsy, a seizure disorder and autism, then nothing is going to stop us from a having a great day as well.  My heart aches for you as hear the grieving over what was lost and what might have been, but you are going to miss what IS, and what is, is a special being that has been placed in your hearts.  There can be joy in that.

Blessings to you,
Donna

Dear Jean and Christi (email regarding talking with other parents),

Hi! It sounds like you are a little uneasy about purchasing the Bionetics cds. I also was very hesitant to purchase these cds and have my son start the program. I personally called and talked with Jean last April 2009 and he was very thorough, reassuring, and told me that his program would probably be beneficial for my son. My son was 13 when we started the cd therapy. Clay is now 14 and we have seen positive changes in  his social behaviors with school peers, siblings, and adults.  He was diagnosed with autism and developmental delay disorder at the age of 9 per an autism specialist. Clay was a normal, healthy child until we had his scheduled 18 month to 24 month old vaccines. After 4 vaccinations, he started to regress in his developmental stages. Clay did not say his normal 2-4 word phrases anymore, eye contact became very poor, and would not interact with family or  peers.  I started my soon to be 3 year old son in a college speech class which was run by college students and professors. My insurance would not cover any percentage of speech therapy because developmental delay disorders and autism is not a diagnosis that insurance covered regarding speech assistance( that was 11 years ago).  Over the next several years, I had my son in speech therapy at the college(which was all I could afford being a single mom of two). With much advocating and persistant talks with the schools,  he has been in mild special ed classes with some mainstreaming classes. He has been on 2 types of medications for better focus and aggressive behaviors/aggitation for the past 4 years.  Since Clay has started the cd therapy(faithfully playing the cds as instructed), he is now talking more and socializing more with his peers at school for the first time in his schooling environment.  He is now interacting with 11 yr. sister and 13 yr. old stepbrother which they are also estatic about this.  Sensory issues are now gone. We no longer have to cut out his shirt tags and now for the first time(in 14yrs),he is wearing blue jeans every day like all the other 8th graders.  The teacher and aide can not believe the progress he has made over the past 9 months. He now is able to wash himself, dry himself after his showers, and completely dress himself(with occasional supervision--hahaha). He does much better with change in schedule and answers questions quickly when he is asked a question. We are seeing positive changes and keep playing the cds faithfully and praying for complete healing of my son.

Thanks for reading our progress. I thought this might be a wonderful testimony in your decision regarding this cd therapy. Also, I have weaned my son down 1/2 his dosage on his two meds.(yeahhhhh!)

Best wishes, Angela

Dear Jean,

Jude will start the second Cd tonight.  I was concerned at first with his more "stimy and hyperactive behaviors" while using the first cd, but those concerns went away when his speech therapist said that she was impressed by his obvious improvement the past two weeks.  I had taught him some sign language since the age of two to help with his language frustrations.  He is five now and he has pulled away from the signs as soon as he was capable of saying the words.  He has not used a single one sign in the last month.

I am looking forward to the changes to come.

Hi Jean and Parents,

Hope things are going well for all of you.
We started playing Benjamin the CDs since we got them on Jan 22. It's been almost 2 weeks since we started the program. Yesterday, Benjamin said "I want water music please", which was a nice surprise to me! Usually, Benjamin is resistant for things, except his favorite food items or toys. He would get upset when we present him with things or activities that is not initiated by him. Tonight when he was about to go to bed, I asked him "Do you want water music?" He pleasantly replied "Yes, I do." Apparently, Benjamin, who is 4 yrs, likes the sounds of the water very much. I think this is a great start.

As the Chinese Lunar New Year is approaching (the first day is on Feb 14), I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very healthy Year of the Tiger full of happy returns.

Sincerely,
Irene Lew

Hello Jean, We received the CD's yesterday and started them last night. As I got everything ready Dakotah was actually ready for the music to fall asleep. I put it on through my computer and it worked just fine. I checked on him after about 15 minutes and he was sound asleep, I then went in about 45 minutes later and he was out, usually if he hears anything he will sit up and look around but I was in his room checking the volume and turning it down a tad and he never even moved.

Now it was time for my husband and me to go to bed. I got ours ready and went to sleep, I'm not sure if I was worried about Dakotah or what but got up around 2 and went and checked on Dakotah, he was still out like a light, that being said, I went back to bed, and went back to sleep, it was heaven for several hours....

So far so good.....Carrie

Hi Jean,

Thank you for the email.

I must say the Byonetcs CDs have made the biggest difference to my 12 year old son Mohammed. A few days after we started, new language was noticed. His speech therapist was amazed at his progress and still is. A few months ago he began approaching people to inquire about their names and what they were doing. He won the gold medal  in Florida Special Olympics soccer and basketball skillls team last year. He has now joined their youth soccer team. Today he scored a goal in the county games for soccer. His team cam first.

He still has a long way to go, but his progress curve has shot up since we began the CDs. No other treatment has made such a difference.

Thank you for all time and efforts!

Best Regards,

Hello Jean.

It has been 1 month since Gabriel our son has been using the cd's. Let me just say the first thing we noticed was his hyperactivity has decreased big time. He dosn't run around back and forth the way he use to .He still does run around but not anything like before. He is more talkative, still mostly repeating things like tv shows or movies but he will also let us teach him to say things he wants and is much more willing to do so. He listens better when we call or correct him and like you said alot of eye contact. He even asks us questions now like" Whats that?" and "What are you doing?" He calls my mom grammy and gives her a big hug. There are many things, i will be glad to tell you every thing on the phone. It is very exciting to watch him grow.

Thanks Jean for being a instrument of hope. You are truly blessed!!!

Subject: Update on Ethan

Hi Jean,

WE've been on the CDs for 2 weeks now.

1. Ethan was nominated for his school's gifted and talented program. (We knew this was coming, but it was still neat to see.)

2. Ethan's speech therapist is doing his annual testing and told me she did not think he was going to need to continue with extra therapy. We might look at group therapy (socialization), but his language is doing great.

3. Ethan has always had a tremendous fear of animals, especially cats. We have a stray cat that showed up over the weekend and has been hanging out at our back door. He did not pet her, but he named her Olivia and talked to her. He did not run away. Did not cry. Did not jump on me to carry her. He doesn't want her too close to him, but the panic has not been there.

4. I've noticed his language gaining some real clarity. He's explaining more. Using more complex sentences. Making more sense in his imaginative play.

5. Ethan is also voluntarily eating healthier. For instance, he just got in the fridge and pulled out a piece of cheese. He's been eating a lot more protein and yogurt as well. He tradtionally asks for chips and sweets, but his interest in these is weaning.

Thank you!

There does seem to have been improvement in the last few weeks, according to his OT (he has weekly sessions) but he seems to take more interest in his surroundings, people, going out, and eye contact 'circle' has widened from me, his mother and grandmother, to others in our daily cycle of life.

Best wishes,

Also, I noticed how the parents were thanking GOD for the program.  My faith is strong in GOD, & I believe GOD can work through the program to help my son.  I was sold after reading that particular testimony.  All the testimonies are very encouraging.

My son is 10 years old & my husband refuses to put my son on medication.
We are now praying and trying to get our finances straight in order to purchase the program.

Hello,

We started your CD's probably either Late Feb or first week of March.  My husband and I were very skeptical but at the same time as many parents desperate and willing to do anything for their child.  I am so happy we gave in to our desperation, as we have seen some progress already with Lucas.  WE have noticed more vocabulary, and he has accomplished simple sentences.  He is able to say I want drink please, or whatever
it may be that he wants. Another amazing thing is that my child just turned 3, and not only does he sing the alphabet song, but he can recognize, and say any letter of the alphabet when shown to himand now we are working on the sound of each letter, he has learned the sound of A,B,and C just this week alone.  We work with our child daily, as well as his pre-school he attends to and speech and OT but I have to say I believe your
CD's have been one of the key factors.

Thanks again, and will be in touch

Subject: NOT ANY MORE!!

For the benefit of anyone that has had their child on the Byonetics discs for less than 8 months, check this out.

My 9 year old daughter now is demanding change!  That's right -- no more of that "Don't move that or Kimmy will get upset".  There is a lot of light in this tunnel to recovery.  Kimmy was severely autistic--climbed on top of stacks of toys as high as she could go; you couldn't rearrange furniture or even your canned goods; always had to have everything in her chosen place at the right angle; didn't sleep well at night; had meltdowns and balled her eyes out frequently for no apparent reason.  There are so many things that she has overcome during her recovery.

For stemming, there is a vest that velcros together that her OT brought to school for her.  She does not stem while wearing it.  Hugs are a great help, too.  They seem to put the child in his/her right place emotionally, mentally, and physically.

This Easter surely did bring her a blessing!  The funny part is watching the teachers try to scramble to keep up with her changes!

Love to All and God bless.

My grandson, Gavin- 2 1/2 yrs old, has been listening to bonetics C/D's for
merely a week and there is noticable changes!

We have already seen improvement.  He plays more independently; used to
demand Mom's attention/participation, and he responds to Mom better also;
doing what he is told.  When Mom tells Gavin to do something, he does it now.

We always knew he heard us, AND that he understood what we were saying,
but he used to pick and choose when & how he responded to what we said;
which was usually to ignore us & not do as he was told.

Gavin is taking vitamins A, B6 & DMG; planning to up the dosages this month.

The CD program is WONDERFUL! THANK YOU so much for sharing it with the
public.

I will continue to share Gavin's progress.  And I REALLY appreciate the sharing
of information by other parents; the network is fantastic!  There is so much to
wade through, it's nice to sometimes get EXACTLY what you are looking for without
hours of online research!  Keep up the parent networking.

Anticipating much more improvements to come,

Subject: Our Son After Less Than 2 Months

We started your discs in February.  There have not been any "WOW" moments per se.  What we have seen from our ten year old son, who has high functioning autism and leaky gut, is an improvement in his temperament and his expressive speech sentence construction.  Two months ago he would fuss about going to school, not wanting to, and being very combative verbally.  Now, if he even protests, it is NOTHING.  It is an "I don't want to go to school, I want to stay home with my kitties".  When he is told he has to go to school since that is his job, he says ok, and transitions to something else without fussing, peseverating, pushing buttons, making me nuts.  He is putting himself to bed...telling me when it is time to go up to his room and be tucked in....no coercion, bribing, fussing...nothing.

His expressive speech is about 2 years delayed, even more depending upon the task required.  His sentence structure is improving.  It is grammatically correct, he is using conjugations and pronouns and descriptions I wasn't hearing two months ago.  He is more comfortable in his skin, and confident in what he says.  What I am seeing can best be described as layers of restrictions are falling away.

My son still has his moments, but that seems to be more now when he is legitimately tired and overextended, but not at the end of the school day.  His stamina is improving for getting through a school day and still being productive.  He is more willing to comply when asked to turn the volume down on his DSi, without arguing.  He is lying.  He is LYING!

I highlighted that because one of the first founding DAN doctors we saw pointed several things out that we needed to be aware of and careful about.  The major ones were to be careful and mindful of our marriage, and not letting anyone but Mom, Dad, Grandmother, or Aunt, watch over our son...children with autism are some of the most abused children, and most abuse (sorry Dads, please understand and don't be offended) is done by someone other than Mom, Dad, and direct female relatives.  He told us not to let our child sleep over until he was at least 13, and could easily communicate if there were any problems, and then only with someone we completely trusted.  He told us when our children started fighting, to be happy about it because that means our son was coming out of his self limited world and cared enough about something to engage someone else even though it might be physically uncomfortable, even painful, for him to do so.  And, when he started lying, well, that would be an incredible milestone.  He has lied in the past, little lies to get what he wants, but now, he gets a specific look on his face, he is almost the Cheshire cat with his smile, and he is creating whoppers that he knows are lies, and wants to see if we catch him lying.  Unfortunately he is developing quite the talent and I am starting to have a hard time figuring out the lie now!

He asked for his first book...Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  This after having to be bribed to read any book...even books about cats and Transformers which he loves.  When he asked for a book I was floored.

Are the discs the reasons?  Would we have noticed these things in a short time period if not for the discs?  I know this much - these discs are having an impact, my hearing sensitivity is up (almost painfully so but the painful part is dissipating), and with everything else we are doing, they are a complement to this process that is moving my son away from a limited world.  For that, thank you.

Margaret

To the parents requesting info and advice from another parent,

I am a mother of a 15 year old boy who was finally diagnosed with Autism(mild on the spectrum now)when he was 8 years old.  For years(until he was 8), doctors and specialists kept telling us that he was developmentally delayed and just keep an eye on progress. At the age of 8,  a specialist who works with Autistic kids, teens, adults, and Aspergers children, put my son on an array of antipsychotic meds and antidepressents; zoloft, abilify, seroquel, and much more. As we kept trying new meds,  my son seemed more aggressive and aggitated at times.  The medicine, seroquel, was the worst drug they gave my son(which was part of the guinea pig program).  My son would kick at the windows and kick me as well.  These were behaviors that my son did not do without the meds.  Over the past 6-7 years,  we (ourselves) have determined which meds have helped him focus better, more social with others, and prevent abnormal impulses.  My son has been on risperdol (low dose) 2x day and tenex(low dose) 2x day for nearly 5 years.  While browsing on the internet last spring,  I saw a pop up window about Byonetics Therapy.  After looking at the several testimonies of other parents and reviewing the CD program, I talked with Jean Genet per phone.  He told me that my son would probably be a good candidate for the program.  We started  my son on the strict CD program last April(2009) and finally seen big changes after about 6 months of being on the CDs.  I have gradually decreased Clay's medications but seems better with a very low dose of both meds(especially with attention span).  With wonderful news, my son has made great improvement with socialization at school with teachers and peers, and at home with his other siblings.  We had his spring school conference yesterday(which gets him ready for high school in August) and the speech therapist and his mainstreamed teachers could not believe the improvement with volunteering his input and reading to the younger kids, this is amazing for him.  Also,  the speech therapist told me, special ed directors, and new high school principal and team, that he is a new kid.  This was a quiet kid who never focused in class or speech and now is excited about socializing.  Our special ed teacher (who has worked with Clay for 3 years) told me to discuss the Byonetics CD program to the conference team.  Everyone just listened to me and how I felt that this has really improved my son.  No comments though from the new staff. But as the previous teachers, my son, my family, and I know is that this program has helped my son.  My advice to you is to not give up on the Byonetics and play the CDs faithfully.  Also, do not get discouraged when you think they are not helping your child.  It took about 4-6 months to notice little improvements with my son.  A soon to be year later,  the school and my family are finally(hahaha)believing that my son is a different child.  Also, watch all those antipsychotic drugs that the doctors will give your child. Sometimes,  those meds, given with to many other meds or given in toxic doses, can make our children worse.  I read your email and felt like you(as a parent) one year ago.  I thought this email would be inspiring to you and your family.

Best wishes,

Angela

Our son is eight years old and has been on the Cds for approximately ten months. During this time we have seen him become more affectionate and less hyper. He generally sleeps welll at night for about 9 hours. He is eight years old and although his receptive speech is better and he is babbles more , he tends to commuicate with one and two word phrases. He can sing whole songs and is quite echoalic. His eyecontact is far better.

I am so grateful for this website and that we can all stick together.

Hi Jean,

Though baby steps, I see improvements in Mariel.  She got calmer and have been staring at me more intently.  The aggression has started to lessen though they can still come but the episodes are very brief.  It could also be because I have started to taper her Risperdal intake gradually.  It will be heavenly if I finally pull this drug out which she's been taking since 9 yrs old (she's now 16yrs old).

I look forward to see more improvements in the future. I hope to be able to introduce the GFCF diet also but my problem is that she has limited choices of food to eat so shifting her to food entirely new to her may be a challenge.

Thanks... Monique

Hello All!  I have been using Byonetics with my daughter for the past few months and am very happy with it!  She, as with most of you with your children I'm sure, has had several challenges.  It is challenging for her, her siblings, and me and her father.  She is a beautiful person!  When having a child with special needs, our whole world changes.  It is a whole grievance process.  Family dynamics, way of life,  ways of eating, etc. change.

Hi Jean,

Sean's gotten better with the CDs and still is when it comes to tolerating sounds. He can now tolerate the sounds of vacuum and any other sounds. As a result, he stays more often in the living room as compared before. He even started to mingle with other kids, but still does not play any toy with them. That is truly amazing! We hope that he will continue to progress everyday. We are still playing the CDs every time he sleeps. By the way, he has a longer and more sound sleep now as compared before we started using the CDs.

Thanks so much and have a great day!

Kyle has had a very good week at school.  He has not had outburst.  He
participated today during group time by making a suggestion on what to draw.
We were talking about what is under water after reading the story rainbow
fish.  I was showing pictures and then made a drawing of a fish, snake, and
seaweed.  He suggested that we could do a spider and a snail.  Very
appropriate!  Monday, he even said, "Hey Kids, Look at the fan."  in the
purple room after he had make a fan out of some manipulatives that look like
tinker toys.  Are you doing anything different at home?  IF so, keep it up!

Today B. Werf, from the Christian school came to watch Kyle for an hour.  He was doing a good job.

I am Johan's mother and I know my husband has already shared this with you, but I just had to say "Praise God" and "THANK YOU".  For the first time, Johan initiated a conversation.  Last night, he was in another room and he came out of the room and called out "Mommy".  I didn't say anything the first time because I couldn't believe what I was hearing.  Then he called out again "Mommy".  I literally ran to him and there he was with the biggest smile on his face looking for me.  Did I add he has the cuttest dimples?  I picked him up and hugged him so tight with tears rolling down my face.

Jean, I am so thankful that you have allowed God to use you as a vessel in order to help kids with autism.  With all that you have gone through, please know that it was not in vain...kids are getting better and on behalf of all the parents who at one point in time had no hope...THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU !!!!!

Subject: Gavin's progress on CD's

Hello everyone,

I know it's been awhile, but you all know how busy we can get! Gavin (grandson - 2 1/2 yrs) has been listening to CD's for only 2 months & we have seen GREAT improvements! So GREAT, I had to share...

so for all you skeptic parents out there, here you go:

Gavin used to only have eye contact with Mommy. Now, Gavin not only looks me in the eye, he HOLDS eye contact with me! Being his Nana, I almost cry with joy when he does it! Even more incredibly, he INITIATES physical contact with me. He touches my face when he wants me to "watch" him; basically this gesture means "pay attention to me"! Gavin now PULLS (my hand or leg) - depending on if he wants me to "go" somwhere with him, or "do" something with him; YEAH, HE INITIATES the physical part. It's GREAT! Gavin now inter-plays with toys & looks at people for their reaction; he EXPECTS our participation... stuff that all the other kids already do. He not only does this for me, but he has expanded his circle to include most of our extended family members now. He includes more and more people all the time. He now looks at strangers in the eye, but doesn't hold the contact for long. (baby steps).  THIS parent network far SURPASSES the internet Research for autism.  I THANK each of YOU for EVERY LINK & Sharing of what works for you, what didn't & what to avoid; it REALLY HELPS.

Gavin has always made noise - sounds; just not spoken but maybe five words & he would not repeat them again. He does use (rather good for 2 yrs old) sign language. I have noticed that his "sounds" are different; 1 -there are more sounds to choose from; and 2 -he repeats them IF you mimick his sound. He used to make a lot of dolphin sounds; very high pitched squeals. Now, he makes sounds closer to a speaking tone; ohhhh & gaw gaw gaw. Also new to us, is that he does the raspberries with his mouth. Although spitting normally is not a wanted activity, we are THRILLED that he does any movements with his mouth & tounge; so we actually PRAISE him for this! go figure. Gavin also plays games with us now, like peek a boo, ring around the rosies & others we have made up (ok, we let HIM make them up). But HE initiates the games; ALL ON HIS OWN. It's a true blessing that he WANTS to be in our world, because we soooo want to enjoy playing & interacting with him to.

I simply MUST THANK EVERYONE who shares on here, because I have used techniques suggested by parents here - THAT REALLY WORK - THANK YOU ALL!
I wish everyone here good ventures & down pours of blessings. THANK YOU Jean for offering all that you know to help others. I suggest to others to praise each and every baby step achieved; as it is truely GREAT to see any little improvement.

We had Gavin on vitamins A, B6, DMG & Folic Acid. Recently we switched to a multi vit specifically for autistic children (Kirkman); as they provide the higher doses of these particular vitamins, where a regular child multivit doesn't. Gavin goes to speech therapy once a week & is starting occupational therapy next month.  We recently got Gavin tested for food allergies also.  To other parents; perservere; keep trying; DO WHAT YOU CAN; take BREAKS when you need them & DON'T GIVE UP.

Gavin's NaNa

Hi Jean,
I find time has a way of getting away from me and since Devon has been at Children's Hospital and School some four days into this 120 day program I seem to have lost my way from the usual rigid daily protocol. For nine and a half years it has been Devon and I 24/7 with very few breaks away from one another and I am wondering if he is co-dependant on me as I seem to be on him.
I miss my little guy so much but your informative emails and wonderful connections help me keep the study going for his return home so I can get on with ending autism instead of being a puppet that attempts to manage it.
Thank you for being such a wonderfully supporting advocate for all the parents and family members of autistic children and young adults. I appreciate your willingness to pass on all the useful information rather than hoard it to keep your product spotlighted as this builds trust and loyalty. You are so appreciated by me and I wager that you are appreciated by everyone to whom you come in contact with.
Have a Great weekend.

Jean,

We began the CD's around a month ago. I was shocked that even the day or two after playing the CD's I saw tremendous change and in many ways felt like I was meeting him for the first time. He woke up every day asking what day it was, and he stayed with us most of the day. On Mother's Day he sat at the table and held conversation extremely well. He even got frustrated with his sister when she helped remind him of things like she always needs to, and he was very interactive with and protective of his four younger siblings.

Dear Parents,

I just wanted to encourage all of you who are wondering if all you are doing and sacrificing for your children is really going to make a difference.

Our daughter, Grace, was diagnosed at four years old with PDD/Autism. She has done tons of supplements, years of chelation (even 1 year of IV chelation), multiple therapies (not ABA) and listened to the CD's since October of 2009. (My Husband is a resident doctor now because of all his research and studying!!-Ha! )

Well, I am on a high today and just need to share this with you.

We flew from Phx to San Diego yesterday morning to enjoy a full day (10-6pm) at Seaworld with Grace and two of her older brothers. WE did not arrive home until about 11 PM.(We had an 18 hour day)  Grace was totally amazing!! Not one single melt down and never even a complaint about anything! She was mesmerized by the animals and all the visual stimulation. We watched 3 shows (Dolphin, Shamu and the PetsRule Shows) and even waited over a half hour seated before each show. Occasionally, she would cover her ears because the music was so loud, but other than that, she loved it all! Though her speech is still her hang up (she understands everything, and speaks a ton, just not all is appropriate) she labeled everything and even said "look momma, Flamingos!" about 10 times just to make sure she had the word appropriate! We could tell she was having a ball because she would giggle on and off and just hugged us and said, "Are you having fun?" several times throughout our day! Praise God!

It was a terrific day for us all!! Just to watch as she continues to move forward. No, she is not where we want her ultimately, but YES she is improving daily!

Hope this encourages you all as there were many days for us that we just wondered. Faith will guide you. Never give up. Your Seaworld day is coming too! I can't express our excitement for our precious daughter. I know you can relate.

All our best,
Darl and Gina Hanna (Proud parents of a child struggling with autism)

Subject: Seeing the changes with our daughter

Dear Parents,

Our 6 year old daughter was diagnosed at 22 months with autism.  We have done the speech and OT therapy (and continue to do so) we did ABA and she has recently graduated the ABA home program.  We started the CD's about a month ago, and even though we were seeing progress with her prior to the CD we are already seeing even more progression.  Recently we took her to the fair and accidently forgot her blanket.....normally when she doesnt have it she twists her hair in knots, but this time no melt down and no hair twisting.  There was also a alrge crowd behind us when we were in line for the merry go round, and they all began to cheer for the princess of the carnival.  Normally she would have freaked out plugged her ears and grabbed her blanket and either ran away or have a melt down.  This time, she turned around and looked at them all and clapped and cheered with them, then got on the merry go round.

I can honestly say to all the parents that regardless of the methods you choose to utilize for your child, keep up the hard work and dedication as progress comes fast, slow, and at its own pace, but you will see progress, patience and observation is the key.

Thank you Jean for the cd's as I do feel that these in combo with what we are already doing, our baby girl is advancing in the right direction.

Subject: Byonetics Program

Dear Jean,
I am responding to this even though I don't have all the CD's ordered yet because of my own financial situation.
My own son Devon has been using the first CD at his institutional summer program. I am not there everyday but I have had two weekend visits. What I have noticed is that Devon is calmer, handles adversity much better and has placed himself into a position to be helpful to other children in the facility that are not as blessed as he.
I battled with autism and the effects autism had on his education and social interactions. I have spent years looking for answers just as many other parents of children with autism. It has been all the answers that come forth through your unselfish dedication of your time and money to help parents deal head on with the autism affliction. I have trouble managing three blogs and you answer every email and maintain a mailing list which keeps us connected as a group.I am so happy to be connected to everyone through you. I think you should name it the Byonetics Support Group.
I don't remember the subject line of your letter about Byonetics not being a treatment program but maybe we should all get a re-send of it. As parents of autistic children we have to sift through mounds of information and weigh it against all the general public view of information and that put out by the government. $400 and the monthly fee is such a minuet amount of risk when we are referring to a child with Autism. Drugs only treat symptoms but they do so at a high cost. My Devon has been baseline for two months. I may not like all the things I see when he is off drugs but it is a wake up call to the child I am dealing with. This is the second time Devon has been baseline and the child I see free and the child I saw on drugs was the same except the child on drugs seemed to not be receptive to change or learning.
Byonetics to me makes absolute sense because it follows the same sound technology for deep meditation. A person can change how they think and unblock pathways previously blocked bt trauma with this type of sound therapy---Why wouldn't it be a great starting point to use with other treatments? No one has anything to lose by trying Byonetics on their child. There are no ill side effects from the CD's unless you eat them and they do not interfere with any other therapies. It actually has a bonus! With the stresses of raising an autistic child often our wires get crossed up and fried. The first CD worked like a rejuvenation on me. I used it at bedtime after my son was long asleep. It was calming, produced a restful sleep and my next day felt as though I had been rejuvenated.
I always seem to have more then two cents to add---sorry. I know all about money and financial hardship. What some families are able to pay with minimal sacrifice has taken me almost six months to save which I might add should be done next week--hurray. I see Byonetics as an opportunity path for my son, one I can't chance failing at.

Jean's program is wonderful!  Minutes after I put in the cd, my 7 year old sat on the couch for 20 minutes, very relaxed and focusing on an abc chart that I was trying to teach him. He would normally never sit down and focus. Yesterday, he was around a family that hasn't seen him in 6 months and they couldn't believe how much progress he has made. He was interacting with other children and asking them questions. I can't thank Jean enough for what he has done for our family.

Hi Darcy,

we are new to the Byonetics program as we have only been using it for a month and a half or so for our 6 year old daughter.  To date we have already seen some improvements, although minor they are still present.  Like anything each child responds differently and at their own pace.  Also don't forget you would still need to continue any speech and OT therapies or other programs you are currently utilizing even when you decide to start the Byonetics program.  I too understand your concern it can be pricy, but Jean does have an affordable payment plan, and honestly we looked at it as there is nothing too expensie if it will help our baby girl.

Good luck in your decisions and I hope that this helps even just a little.  Feel free to contact me if you need to.

Hello to all Parents contemplating on buying Bionetics,

I went to see my child's teachers for a Parent-Teacher conference and they have been so happy to report Mariel's much improved behaviour and they asked me if I made changes in her medications.  I simply said please research on Bionetics because that was the only major change we did for the past 2 months and so.

I agree that money is tight and we should not just fall for anything presented to us.  While Jean stressed on the Bionetics as a TECHNOLOGY and not a THERAPY, I would say that the simple therapies we are employing (which is making her attend a special community school) is more effective because she is more focused and manageable.  So you have to continue complementing the CD technology with a therapy for your child but do not overload yourself and your child with it.

If you do buy the CDs, I would suggest that you have 2 players to use in alternate schedules.  Like 1 in the daytime and another for the night time because I think I'm stressing my player and have changed twice for the last 2 months.  I play the CD at night time at repeat mode.

Thanks... Monique

Hello Darcy-

I'm not sure if it works as it has only been a couple of weeks.  I can tell you that my son, who is almost 3, transitioned back into his crib after a year of sleeping with me, very easily.  He seems to enjoy the CDs and will lie quietly in his crib, listening, until he falls asleep.  He goes to bed earlier and continues to sleep through the night.  I actually have some time to myself before I go to bed.  Whatever you decide, best of luck!

Darcy,

We have been using Byonetics with our son for over 3 years now. Feel very confident in this therapy. We have seen many changes while using Byonetics. As Jean explained, Byonetics is a therapy enhancer; this is a very accurate description I would agree. I love this therapy for many reasons: it is affordable, it works :), and it's one therapy that occurs while Jacob is asleep (this is a huge bonus!) Best of luck to you and your little one.

Dearest Darcy,

We have been using the Cd's for 3 years now. When I was first researching therapies I was immediately drawn to the concept of dolphin frequencies and Jean's compelling story. I have lived on the beach all my life and when the dolphins come into my backyard (we live on an inter-coastal bay) all my anxiety, anger and resentments melt away. My son Gabe  asks nightly "turn my dolphins on mommy". He has classic autism and will be turning 5 in September. He enjoys going to bed and sleeps soundly every night which is crucial for brain repair and development. The Cd's are not a magic pill but I believe they have been very instrumental in Gabe's development along with his other therapies.

I truly love our parent network and Jean. Both have been extremely generous to us these past 3 years. I remember my thoughts as I was deciding to purchase Byonetics...Here is a therapy that doesn't ask anything of my son, it is non-invasive and he will go to sleep with the most amazing creatures on earth..

PS everyone, Gorgeous Gabe is learning to read. A little progress update from IRB, FL

Warmest regards and many blessings,

Jen

I also have had the CD's for three years my two sons are Payton 10 and Kiernan 9.  I play them every night and until a few months ago the boys always shared a room.  Then I separated them and forgot or was not consistent with the CD's I many times would fall asleep before I moved the cd from one room after it was done playing to another.  Then I wondered after 3 years do they need it.  And then I started noticing sleep issues which had been long gone returning.  I have started being more consistent with the cd's but play them in different orders or repeat days - wondering if after 3 years it would help to mix it up a bit.  They are sleeping much better again.

Thank you,

Hello Mr.Jean

I received the Cd's  finally and thank you for sending it to me  so fast.

I am not sure if this is a coincidence but my little boy woke up early today and set at the table. Looked at me and asked me for pancakes. I cried all morning . So this is an encouragement for me.

Also, I was playing the environment CD all night and I  didn't use the parent CD last night but when I woke up at 6 am i felt rested for the first time in so many years.

Thank you. I am hoping that Amin will be advancing and doing much better with his therapy with these CDs. Although he has external ear infection of both ears he still did well today at school, which is very surprising since when he has this condition he can not be managed at all due to the pain.

Thank you again Jean. I am hoping soon i will be writing more happy stories about him.
God Bless you.

Jean--words do not say enough for have you have given us all. Not with Byonetics alone
but with you--the unselfish person that gives their all as an advocate for autism and a

Dear Group:

I wanted to take the opportunity to let you know that we had an advance last night.  Something that I didn't think Gray may be able to ever do.  But last night was the first night of league play for our local curling club.  Using a delivery stick he was able to curl on my team.  We lost, but Gray made a point for our team.  He was able to enjoy playing a game with 31 other players on the rink, screaming out instructions and sweeping away. He wasn't over stimulated.  There were not behaviors, but there were lots of smiles and high fives.

I would highly recommend curling with your child.  It is a sport that limitations can be easily accomidated.  Our club is working with Special Olympics to develop a U.S. program.

Subject: Update on Shrut

Hi Jean,

I know I am over due on an update for Shrut, so I decided to get down to it today. This might be a little long though, there are so many things that I would like to share, so please bear with me.

Its been exactly a month today since we have been using the CD's and a lot has changed in a month.

Let me first start with describing how things were a month ago...Shrut is a high functioning child, 16 yrs old. He is a mathematics mastermind (can do university level mathematics) and a computer ginius but lacks very very heavily in communicational skills. He also used to have some tics (used to make guestures really fast with his hands) and would sometimes shout and make loud noises. He is very independent when it comes to getting ready in the morning or if he is hungry he can cook something for himself too.

After using the CD's we have had alot of changes...
He is even more independent now, if thats even possible. He even acts like a rebelious teenager sometimes, which never happened before :)

The first morning after we played the CD's he woke up and looked into our eyes while adorning the most beautiful smile ever. He looked around as if things were new and was very interested in everything. He was very loving and caring for the entire day, more than ever. And his eye contact was fabulous!!

Then during the rest of the month...we made furthur progress...he now initiates conversation!!! I can not tell you how amazing that is!!! He always knew words but never quite used them...now he does...he is using sentences that he never has before and words that I never knew he knew...

I am very grateful for these changes...and I really can't thank you enough for coming up with these CDs.

He loves the CDs and calls them magic CDs! He makes sure we put the right one in every night. I am on cloud nine regarding his progress in language... its coming at a steady rate..he is able to say 2-3 sentences at a time and sometimes even jokes around. Oh, and the other big thing is that he has started lying!! And believe it or not I am very happy about this, it means he is growing up. Whenever he lies, he has this twinkle in his eye, that says catch me if you can! Its almost like he is testing us.

I am looking forward to sharing more of Shrut's progress with you in the future. Thank you so much Jean, for the wonderful job that you are doing, and also for this wonderful parents network where care givers can match notes, guide one another and cheer each other on as we all travel down the same road.

Yours sincerely,
Rrit

Hi Jean,

I just wanted to  let you know that my son Amin is doing well with the CDs. It has been 3 full wks now and he is talking a lot, and more aware of his surroundings. I was so shocked when we passed by a construction site and he was looking at the scooper and all the other machines with such an anticipation. I been trying to get his attention for years to show him what is happening on these sites but he never really cared. Now hye is  looking at it , talking about it.  Also, I have to drive with him a lot on the freeway and streets too and he started labeling things . He says words that i didn't even know he knows them.

Yesterday I asked him how is his lunch and he looked at me and said"fabulous"... I cried.
Thank you Jean, these Cd's certainly make a huge difference in our lives.

Also, his speech evaluation was today , and the therapist told me she will add some extra goals since he is mastering things  very quickly.

Thank you again Jean

Hi Jean,

I wanted to let you know that I have been playing the Byonectics CDs for my son for almost 3 weeks now.  I have noticed some postive changes in him.  My son is nonverbal, but has begun saying 4 new sounds over the course of 3 wks. I have also noticed that he seems more curious and aware of his surroundings than before.  I will continue to use these CDs every night, as well as play the Environmental CD and use the light throughout the day.  I look forward to seeing my son saying more sounds and words as he continues to make progress.

Just had a couple quick questions for you.  Would you recommend playing the CDs more than once each night?  Do you feel it would help repair the developmental switches at a faster rate?

Thank you for your time,

Subject: Elim & Cynrik update

Hi Jean,

We got the CD a week ago, and have been playing it pretty much none-stop 24/7 - even forgot it playing the day we went to Duluth for appointments and were gone most of the day.

The first thing we noticed was that we (Mom and Dad) were much less stressed, that the music was very relaxing for us.  We didn't notice anything specific with the kids until just yesterday.  Normally the day after a long day trip, the kids would be tired, cranky, reactive, and prone to meltdowns.  Yesterday they were quiet, calm, relaxed - and for the first time since Elim's 2nd seizure, the one in June, he actually CONVERSED with us.

He's been either scripting stuff, or rambling, or in (or close to) meltdown.  Yesterday he actually had conversations with us, and only scripted as he was playing.  Transitions which were next to impossible for him after the seizure, were seamless.

Elim is Aspergers.

Cynrik, who is Autistic, actually conversed a little verbally with Dad - something that hasn't ever happened.  He'd also come up to Dad at one point the day before and planted a big kiss on him.  He's lovey, just this doesn't happen often.  He also grabbed me while we were outside playing, planted my hands around his chest and his feet on mine, and asked me to "dance" with him.  He's NEVER done that kind of thing before.

They have also been sleeping much better.  Elim has normally had difficulty going to sleep at night, and it's been worse since this last seizure.  Now he's asleep before 11 or 1130pm, sleeps through the night, and gets up much easier.  Cynrik has been putting himself down - although that happened occasionally, since he got his boosters at the beginning of Kindergarden, it was a difficult transition for him.  Now the going-to-bed stimming-kicking-thrashing-carrying on is gone, and he's putting himself down.

Thank you so much for giving us hope - and allowing these really neat kids to surface.  I can't wait to see what happens next with them as we progress through the cds!

Happy Trails!
Patricia

Another thing I noticed this morning is that Elim's confusion over Mommy/Daddy has disappeared.  Typically when he addresses me, it's "Daddy - Mommy" - he says the wrong one, then corrects himself.  It's the same, although reversed, when he addresses Dad - "Mommy - Daddy".  Today, it's been the correct one for each of us, and he hasn't had to stop and correct himself.

Subject: Update on Maya, quick question

Dear Jean,

Our nine-year old daughter Maya has been enjoying the good effects of your CDs for about three weeks now, and we have also greatly appreciated the extraordinary parent network made possible by you.  When we first started listening, Maya would stand near the CD player and listen very carefully, with a wondrous smile.  Ironically, for weeks before receiving your CDs, she loved turning on the bathroom faucet lightly and listened to the trickling water sound for chunks of time (which sound to the naked ear remarkably similar to the babbling brook of your CDs...it was as if she knew what was coming).

Since starting the Byonetics CDs, Maya has shown an increased connection to her body and emotions.  She has made efforts to potty train herself for the first time, being aware on a new level of her body and different sensations.  She is playing piano for up to thirty minutes, exploring sounds and using all ten fingers with great dexterity and sensitivity to harmony and rhythm (we are both pianists/musicians), compared to shorter playing sessions and fewer sounds and fingers before.  Her "conversations" on the phone with grandparents seem more nuanced, as her vocalizations are full of emotional inflections and have the lilt of sentences.  Her concentration is  more intense and sustained.  She seems even more affectionate than usual, stroking grandpa gently to go to sleep, going back to kiss him, giving more direct, knowing looks that are deeply expressive, initiating hugs and physical gestures of love.  Her general responsiveness is quicker, and she is more aware of and in control of her actions (opening difficult doors with ease, going back to close the refrigerator door that wasn't fully shut, following directions).

We are very excited to see these new and varied steps emerging, as we imagine tiny switches being turned on gradually in her brain, building traction in her development little by little.  As you described, she does sometimes act impulsively, like a big awkward toddler, so the behaviors can sometimes seem like they are getting worse, amidst broader cognitive progress.  We will continue to keep you updated, and we appreciate and take to heart your reminder to be patient.

Your story and your life's work are unbelievably inspirational.  Thank you for affecting our lives daily, with your parent network, with your color profiles, and most of all your energy of hope and unshakable belief in our children.  We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Heartfelt thanks,
Clara and Martin

Thanks to everyone here I have learned so much. I had no idea were to begin helping my son until I found your program. Your Cds helped my son sleep through the night when nothing else worked and with all the information I have received, my son has progressed tremendously. To the point where he no longer has a diagnosis other than some apraxia. It is in this network that I learned about Hyperbarics through you and Jill, who is one of your members. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase one at the time and my son used it for a year and improved a lot. The biggest thing was he stopped spinning things altogether which he wouldn't stop for anything.

Thank you,
Audrey

Hi Jean,

I appreciate your product so much. it changed my life, and my children's life in so many positive way.

In addition , I have a wonderful resource , the Parent Group" that you created. I for once in my life since my son was diagnosed feel comfortable. I know if I have a problem I can send an email to you, you will send it out and withing hours I have the answer that I need. I never ever had that luxury. Even the doctors can not answer some of my question, and I would have to pay for the visit to get an answer.

These Cd's are great, the forum is a blessing, and you Jean a HUGE BLESSING TO ALL OF US. I guess you might want to try to adopt my attitude that i developed "IGNORE THE IGNORANT". GOD BLESS YOU AND THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO FOR  US.

an hour of your time to talk with me and fully explain the Byonetics program.  I saw immediate
benefits with the cds, but because of this network, which is invaluable, I was able to finally start
the healing/recovery process with my daughter.  If only I'd known about you and your program sooner.
I would have saved thousands, upon thousands of dollars!

You are a true pioneer in the "age of autism".  You have touched more people than you know.
We thank God that we are a part of what you have started....we are no longer "alone!"

My deepest appreciation-

I don't think we have missed more than a day here or there with the CDs in the 7+ months we have had them.  Jake is doing really well...although the development has been slow, it has been steady.  His vocabulary continues to expand by leaps and bounds but putting it into useful language still seems to be a ways off.  His receptive language has increased dramatically.

Thank you and feel free to share whatever of this with the parents community.

Subject: SHANE

Dear Jean,

Thought I would give you an update on Shane after almost 1 week on the bionetics. Shane is 3 1/2 years old and he is non-verbal. The public school that he attends has been working for the last 5 months to get Shane comfortable with the classroom setting and transitional changes within the classroom as well as between classroom and therapy sessions that they provide at the school.  Shane normally baulks at every little change and physically fights the caregiver every step of the way and he usually screamed a lot during transitions. The speech therapist could not even get Shane to make eye contact with her or cooperate in any way for speech therapy.

The school was not aware that we started the bionetics.  But the reports from school this week were awesome. No more screaming. Transitions were made all week long without the baulking and physical fights.  He was happy.  He spoke the words "Criss-cross, applesauce"  for sitting on the floor for circle time - he said it not once but 3 times on 2 different days at the appropriate time.  He made eye contact with the speech therapist and by Thursday spoke 3 words for her.  The school reported such a huge change in his habits that by Wednesday of this week they moved to actually teaching him his ABCs and numbers. On Thursday, they reported him saying A-E of the alphabet.  He did not bite anyone (usually bit the caregiver at least 3 times a week) and he didn't pull anyone's hair.

My mother babysits Shane for the other half of the day while I'm at work.  By Wednesday, my mother (a retired high school counselor) almost alarmingly ask what was going on with Shane.  I asked her what she meant.  She replied that he was much calmer, he was not dumping plates, dumping boxes, or dumping toy boxes, he was not raking books off of the bookshelves, and that the school was asking questions.  I finally confided in her and told her about the bionetics and the school has requested that I call them today.

Thank you so much, I don't know how to express my gratitude in words.  I look forward for more changes and I will keep you updated.

Hey Jean,
You spoke with my husband about our son Trick and his fight to conquer autism.  I know he has been your main contact for questions and updates involving our son, but I had a few moments and wanted to tell you some great things that are coming out of him.  First of all, he has been on the cd program for about 6 weeks now and at first we didn't notice anything.  We play around quite a bit with his supplements trying to get them right so we never know which child we will get in the mornings.  Sometimes he is right on with his speech and language, sometimes all he wants to do is stem (movie talk).  But lately, we have noticed very subtle changes in our 9 year old.  He pays more attention to the conversation going on around him and picks up a few words here and there that he then tries to make into sentences.  He is more sociable, even sitting in the livingroom with us for a program on tv.  He is more aware of his surroundings and makes comments, "this room is ugly", "look there is a dump truck," and the best of all, is he seems to be emerging  from the darkside and coming into his light.  He just seems happier and calmer and more into his days then he has ever been.  He is 9 and while he can dress himself and shower and do 3-4 step commands, we still worry about him not knowing the signs of danger when crossing the street or using a knife.  We worry about where he will be if he shows any violence (not that he has but sometimes he does) and lately all we are seeing is a little boy who says he wants to have an excellent day instead of a good day.

I hope that your program is what we can attest these subtle but noticeable changes in him.  While i've been fighting autism and the dark pieces of life that come with it for 7 years now, who Trick is becoming now, the kid that laughs in the appropriate places while watchign tv, the kid who will count down the next 23 days until he gets to go see Disney Toy Story on Ice with Dad, initiating play with his brother, actually being in the present moment with us, is absolutely worth the strugggles.  I have a caringbridge site that i use to keep my family and friends up to date and i have to tell you that the entries lately have left me breathless.  He is emerging Jean, and if i can possibly owe his life to you and this program, well you can bet i will tell everyone we know that this is what saved him.  My child is coming out of his autism darkness and seeing the peace in the light and he is seeking it more and more.

Anyway, i wanted to share with you what we were seeing and how much we are thankful to have come across your program.  If you would like to read his caringbridge site, please visit caringbridge.org and then his site is trickroark.  What we have learned from a 9 year old kid sifting through life with autism, is enough to sustain our souls for a lifetime.  he is truly an amazing kid.

Thank you so much

Hi Jean,
As you know, Ethan (now almost 14) has listened to the cd's
every night now for years. Lately we have been using the
"parent (family)" cd, or  the "Monday" one, since he has
been under a lot of emotional stress lately.

Tonight as I turned on the CD, he lay in his bed, as usual.
But tonight he said to me "Do you notice that I am laying
perfectly still? I have to lay perfectly still when you
start the 'music' because of the radiation." I asked about
it. He said "I have to lay still when it first starts, or
the radiation won't help". By this time, he said it was ok
to move. So I asked him what the radiation did. He said it
helped him get a good sleep. I asked what it was like, and
he said it moved over him. It was like lines moving over
him, that you couldn't see or hear it, but he could feel it.
He seemed to look forward to it, and yet wonder if it was
ok. I told him that it was not radiation, but something like
radio waves going through the air, too high of a sound for
our  ears to hear, yet we could still feel it. A very
simplified explanation, I know!

Anyway, he lay still for about 10 seconds at the start of
the cd, and as I thought about it, I can remember that he
does that often, I just never oayed attention to it. It
seemed to be such a cool thing for him to observe and tell
me, I just wanted to share!
Thank you~!

Devon knows he has autism and his dream is to be a normal boy and have lots of friends. I told him the CD's were to help him make his dreams come true. He has listened to them faithfully each night ever since, sometimes reminding me that it is time for his sleep spray and CD'. In three weeks he has become much more connected to being a family member and taking pride in his home. Yesterday he cleaned the bathroom! Today he asked if could start the wash before school. When he did so well with his studies and tests--I rewarded him by giving him extra $ points and 2 days off from the "no ride if you poop schedule. The bathroom and laundry are the two things I seem to complain about because of the pooping issue. It is as if the CD's have given a connection to my feelings and understanding on his part that bathroom and laundry are two chores with added work because of the poop. Maybe I am reading too much into it too early--but I feel he is connecting to the feelings of others and not just his me and I world he mostly exists in.

If I could help him to stop the poop I might be able to rebuild his self esteem. He sure was proud of his grades today---so was I.

I always knew that he had improved a lot, ever since we started those Cd's, but since I see him every day it is not always so apparent. I was glad the way she responded to him, with such enthusiasm. Thank you Jean for helping my little boy.

Subject: Update on Noam

Hi Jean,

Thank you so much for the informative conversation two weeks ago.  We have used the environmental CD and nightly CDs for almost two weeks now.  WOW!!  Noam has been more attentive, has less tantrums, and more verbal.  He always had good eye contact but it's better than ever and socially he was okay too but he is interacting and trying to converse with peers more now.  He's sleeping better with less teeth gritting but not through the night.  Hopefully this will get better.  Please let us know if you have any suggestions.  His special education Pre-K teacher has been stating that he's doing well in school.  Also, he's receiving two hours a week of speech therapy, which will allow him to converse with us even more.  For the last few days, he actually has been telling us "I want."  He has never done this before!  He has said his longest sentence ever by stating that "I want eat green apple."  We almost fell out of our chairs.  You have to understand that we have waited so long to hear him talk.  Everybody told us that he'll catch up and it will happen.  We're glad we didn't listen to those people.  You are a true angel from heaven!!  We knew our son had a lot of good things going for him prior to this program but knew we had to do something to allow him to reach his potential.  The CDs are allowing him to do this.  We are so grateful to you and your research.  We have decided to include in-home therapy and sensory interactive therapy for Noam (two to four hours a week).  Sometimes he covers his ears not because of the noise but anticipating that there will be some noise or if he's scared or doesn't like a television commercial then he'll cover his ears or hide until the commercial is over.  We know that the therapy will resolve these issues for him.

We have a question about a colleague of ours.  The colleague has a son with ADD.  He's twenty two years old and doesn't have the life skills necessary to succeed in life.  For example, if he reads a book then five minutes later he can't recall what he just read.  Do you think the CDs will help him?   His mother is desperately trying to help her son. Please let us know. Thank you for allowing us parents to have the hope and dreams for our children's future.  We couldn't do it without you!  We'll definitely keep you updated on Noam's progress.

Warm Regards,
Lane and Loan

Subject: Noam

Hi Jean,

We just saw Noam's Pre-K teacher and asked her how he was doing in school.  Mind you he's only been in school for two weeks.  Loan's parents have been dropping him off and picking him up from school so we didn't have the opportunity to speak to the teacher until today.  She stated Noam is fearless with his socialization with the other children.  He gravitates and wants to be with the other children.  We were so happy to hear this!  Also, she was "confused" about Noam because the only issue she felt he had was that he didn't have enough exposure with other children.  Also, she and the speech pathologist have to revaluate his goals since he has met a lot of them on his IEP.  Wow!!  We knew that if Noam had the opportunity to listen to the CDs when he started school that he would do well.  However, not in our wildest dreams did we think it would be like this. Initially, his pediatrician stated he thought he was high functioning even though he wasn't talking at the time.  The pediatrician stated if Noam does well socially the first few days in school then he's not autistic since he felt that the socialization was the key factor in determining Noam's diagnosis. He recommended that Noam be evaluated by a developmental pediatrician.  Noam will be evaluated by the school's child psychologist to determine if he's on the spectrum.  It doesn't matter if he is or not at this point.  We are here to provide him all the necessary tools to have him "recover" from whatever ails him.  Pease remember when Loan was crying to the bible about finding a "solution" for Noam, you called her two minutes later.  We knew you were an answer from GOD and feel very humble and privileged to be part of this wonderful program.  GOD Bless You!  We'll keep in touch.

Warm Regards,

He would not respond to any of these before. There are yet no improvements to his speech (his main problem area). I hope and pray all these come to work out.

I have not been playing the environment CD yet due to where to place the machine.

I am wondering what anyone has done to improve a non verbal child's case - especially supplements and food - I would be glad to follow suit. Every viable option is worth trying.

Hi Jean,

I just received the 2nd CD, but to tell you - just the same day I saw that CD in the mail, I opened my front door and saw Jesse playing hide-n-seek with his younger sister who turned 2 today. He had never played with anyone before - always kept to himself. He was laughing so hard and everyone in the house stopped and watched him played and laughed. This is a big sign for us. He's a very heavy feeder - when he's hungry he sings ABCD.....to Z very correctly - continuously until he eats. He is a very happy child and has been happier since the 3rd day of the 1st disk.

The family has been very happy. We thank God and you 4 what you are doing. We can't wait for the day he'll start speaking real words.

Thanks.

Hi Jean,

Just a follow up on Shane, 3 years old, and some questions. Shane has been making huge progess lately.  He is speaking more words and saying them at appropriate times and has even said a few short sentances "I want chip"  and he told his teach "I want orange juice now".  He is starting to do somethings on his own like appropriate play with toys and getting his chair from across the room & bringing it to the table and sitting down for a meal all on his own.  His initiating play with his twin brother and school mates.

Thanks again,

This little girl from then on did not ever raise her hand to answer a question or ask for help all through school. This little girl was smart and got good grades and could have graduated early from school. This little girl had nose surgury later that cost 20,000.

Alan is on his third cd he raises his hand in social studies and language arts. Alan is doing what his mom could never do in school and I'm very proud of him. I am thanking you Jean for these wonderful CDs.

Scott is 11 years old and has been mostly non-verbal since becoming autistic at 18 mos. Since starting the CD's, Scott is repeating movie bits and singing songs, using 3 and 4 word sentences when prompted. He has significantly less stimming behavior.  Scott used to have to ask what color to use when coloring a picture and where to put that color. He would scribble all over the picture, making humming noises. Now he colors independently and stays neatly within the lines, reproducing in exact detail, the picture he has seen before.  Everyone has noticed a great difference in him.

Thank you for all that you do and for the chance for my son to live a normal life.

Subject: What a difference for Alex

Dear Jean,

Thank you soooo much. Alex is improving we received the CD and started Alex on it. It has been just about 3 weeks and he is doing great. i had my first parent teacher conference on November 19,2010 with Alex's teacher. I have to say she put me in tears.

Our conversation started with WOW what have you been doing with Alex i explained the program to his teacher and that we have him on almond milk, omega 3 and vitamin B12 patch. her response to me was " i have been doing this for 15 years and i do not sugar coat kids and when they master a skill" but Alex's teacher was amazed at the progress he has done in these past 3 weeks, i was relieved when she said that i did not want my hopes to confuse me and think it was my imagination with the progress that i have seen. Alex's teacher also said she has 8 aides that assist her through the day 4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon and all the aides notice Alex's progress.

For example:

1 He is more responsive, you call his name and he stops what he is doing to turn around and make full eye contact with you to wait for your response

2 He comes to you when he is asked

3. He sits down when he asked

4. He does more appropriate play

5. He notices if the atmosphere is different or if a stranger entered a room and is more inquisitive as to what is going on

6 He is repeating words, babbling sentences and singing more

7 He is more  focused towards his siblings and wants to interact with then as well as classmates

as you see there is quite a list and that i have noticed, his teacher and his brother and sister.
His sister says"look at Alex he is playing with the car appropriately" or one morning he crawled into bed and i said " where is Antonio" his brother and he repeated "AAAAAntooonio" his brother was so excited and his response was Alex said my name and with tears in Antonio's eyes he rubbed his brothers back.

Thank you Jean, Alex is doing great

Subject: Re: Byonetics: How Much Therapy Is Good For Your Autistic Child

Hi Jean,
I had to write and tell you something about sensory reactions I had never seen before.
In all the years Devon had been in the school system I only ever saw the full meltdown but not what lead to it. The school would just call me to come and get my horrible child. I always asked about the events leading to the meltdown but from what they said the meltdowns came from no where without signs.

Since home schooling this year my son is doing double time. I started him in third grade books because the home school books are further advanced then public school. The books are designed to go for ten months but in late February Devon will begin the 4th grade books. The schools guideline is 5 hours per day but after two hours Devon fidgets and will not learn anything. It is a waste of his time and mine after two hours.

This past Thursday I took him to the school Christmas concert to see his niece sing with her kindergarten class. He was very polite, followed directions, sit still in his chair. I was so proud of him------Then the fifth grade class sang a round  type song----needless to say the 5th graders lost their place several times but what was most interesting was my son reaction.

As the song started in unison Devon was enjoying the concert, even the changing of songs and children on the stage. When the 5th grade started into the round---my son's leg began to twitch. I put my hand on his leg to assure him and maybe pass the message of calm. Within 30 second of the round he was trembling and put his head down in his hands. He knew! I quickly asked him to go for a walk with me. We went outside in the cold and walked--taking about the weather and how well the students were doing with the concert.

We walked back in--he sat down and watched the last twenty minutes in perfect behavior.  The span for reaction was less than one minute. There was no meltdown--just an adjustment to having a nice evening out. I feel so sad to know what he went through in school because no one was able to pick up the signs.

In your article below you mentioned putting yourself in your child's place. No other song bothered Devon---he was even able to tolerate the crowd---just one song of mass confusion did it. I can't imagine what was happening in his little brain at that moment. maybe 3 set of fireworks in one brain all at the same time.

Thanks Jean for all you do and the education you help us all to receive.

Hi Jean hope this message finds you well just a few lines to tell you about how wonderful it was to see my 14 year old nonverbal son, for the first time in 12 years, smile while opening Christmas presents.

When his were all opened he threw himself on the ground mad that there weren't anymore to open . Needless to say Billy's only brother let him open his presents and as he opened each one he handed them to Austin. WOW we were all speechless.

Austin who has lived through many Christmases with Billy said, "Mom, he has never really enjoyed opening pictures remember?" Well that's only one of many wonderful changes that we, as a family, have seen in Billy.

We started Byonetics in June 2010 and we are now on last cd and I am so looking forward to seeing what new changes when we are on the new 7 day cycle of cd/s.

Billy started in highschool this year. After 12 years out of the district we have a new program here in town. I can't tell you how awesome he is doing. He is so happy. For years he would  want to stay home daily. Now I get him ready for the day at 5:30 am. He is already up and getting dressed when I walk in his room.. He doesn't even want to stay home on half days. Usually I would even send him in when there is only 4 hour day. Billy isn't staying home at all.

Who knows what's around the corner for Billy and us as a family. But I do know that Jean's program has given us a whole new ray of light.

I have told teachers and asst. at school all about our therapy and they are truly interested in this new therapy.

Billy still is non-verbal but he is wanting to use his comunicative device more and more.

I just wanted to write you Jean and give you all the praise for all your hard work and funding you have given new hope to me and my family. I look forward to writing you again with new up dates.. God Bless you for given new hope when there was none.

God Bless you and your family

Hello Jean,

I just wanted to let you know that David (4 years old) is doing well.  He is engaging in play more and more with children.  Even though since Dec 17th, 2010 (since he first started) he has really become more focused.  He is now stacking Lego blocks, which he NEVER wanted to play with before.  He is playing more focused with toys and for a longer duration too.  David will be 5 years old on Feb 1st, and look forward to the upcoming months of progress due to the help of the CDs.

Christopher (3 years old) is also trying to sound out words, and although he is not making the same amount of progress as David he is saying "Horse" a lot more, we used to have to prompt him to say it by singing "Old McDonald Had a Farm."

thanks for your help and I look forward to sending you more details of their progress in the upcoming months.

Regards,
Christopher Jones (David and Lil Christopher's Daddy)

My son's job is not open when the school system is closed due to transportation requirements.  Last Friday, he came into my room and asked if he was going to work today.  I told him that the school system was closed.  He said "Why? The snow is melting.  The roads are clear." (HUGE!!!).  When I explained that some parts of the County still had roads with a lot of snow, he said "OK", and went about his business. Normally, he would have obsessed about it by continuing to ask "Am I going to work today?" or just  getting upset and chanting non-stop for what has seem in the past for an hour, but he did not this time! WOW

Hi Jean,
I thought I should share something extraordinary that happened past couple of mornings. May be someone else might have experienced this, or is it strange that it happened. Jason since starting the cds Jan. 31, has been sleeping in his bed, and in his room, which is a very big improvement as he looks forward to listening to the "water cd".  Jason woke up Mon. morn Feb.7, and the first word out of his mouth was "Red", at that time I dismissed it as one of his many imprinted information he,s had prior to going to bed. The next morn, Feb. 8th, thesame thing happened only this time he mentioned the word "Orange", again not paying attention due to schedule, went on my chores of the day, not accessing my email for the daily child/parent color profile.  While checking my email today, I suddenly the incidence of the previous days, so I quickly checked the colors for those days, and they were just he had called them for both Mon. and Tues. This is either an extraordinary occurrence, meaning something positive is taking place here, or there's more to this form of therapy. Has anybody had similar experience? Please share. Jean could you please shed light on this phenomena, I was taken aback when those colors matched the colors for the different days of the week they meant for, and I have never read those colors to his hearing but mine hearing.
Waiting to hear from you soonest.

Hello Jean
I had a question for you about the progress we are seeing with our son!!

Our little fella Brock (4 1/2) is doing well with the CD's.  He has been on them for about 5 weeks... I believe.  We are sooooo pleased to share that he has calmed down a lot and is much more in control of his activity levels..not so out of control hyper.  However, he seems to be more disconnected with the world and us, then when he was going full speed ahead.  We are so pleased with the change in activity, but seem to have lost him into more of his bubble of non-interactive issues! I would love feedback on if this is normal and if others have seen this as they transition through the program!!

Thank you kindly

Hello

I just wanted to let you know that we had a very difficult 2 months in our lives. I came down with the swine flu, than my daughter, and my son Amin. That was the time when he stopped breathing again. After we recovered Amin was never the same. I asked every doctor, but they just ignored me. He didn't sleep for weeks, and even now he falls asleep but wakes up in the middle of the night. The past few days we were able to sleep 4 hrs . He is much calmer and more relaxed. The reason for this is your CDs .

I had played them for Amin every night never missed a day, except during my sickness and his sickness. I was in such a desperate state that i completely forgot about them. We missed  2months, and when all effort failed to make him go to sleep, or stay a sleep longer, my 8 years old daughter reminded me to put the Cds on for us.

After 2 days of listening to the environment Cd we are all more at ease, and his nightly CDs works wonders for him again. Now I am starting to see the light  at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you again for your wonderful CDs , they helped Amin in so many ways.

WE NOW HAVE A CHILD THAT MOCKS HIS 12 YEAR SISTER, USING HAND JESTERS,LIKE BLOB,BLOB,BLOB WHEN HE DOES NOT WANT TO HEAR HER AND SO FOURTH.

HE IS A COMPLETE NEW CHILD THAT IN JUST 52 DAYS AGO WOULD ONLY SAY ONE WORD AT TIME. WOULD HAVE A TRIBAL TIME FOCUSING,
AND EVEN HAVING A CONVERSATION TO ANY LENGTH OF TIME ABOUT WHAT HAPPENING TODAY, HE WOULD  HAVE NO CLUE!

NOW HE'S SAYING AND MAKING STATEMENTS THAT TURNS YOUR HEAD! YESTERDAY WE WENT TO HIS SISTER ICE SKATING GALA,

HE WENT TO GET HER FLOWERS AT THE FRONT DOOR. WHEN HE RETURNED OUT NO WHERE, HE MADE  A STATEMENT. HE SAID
I HAVE TO TAKE PISS! IT CAUGHT EVERYONE IN ROOM BY SURPRISE. WE WERE IN SHOCK!

THE DAY BEFORE HE ALSO STATED OUT LOUD, " I NEED TO TAKE A DUMP!"  HIS FUNNY! WE NEVER SAY THIS THING AROUND THE HOUSE.

SO GIVEN HIS NEW VOCABULARY, WE NOW ARE FINE TUNING IT.  AS TO WERE AND WHEN HE SHOULD USE HIS NEW FOUND ENGLISH LANGUISH.

HE ALSO IS IN OUR CONVERSATION A LITTLE BIT MORE EACH DAY.

WE ARE IN SHOCK.... IN AMAZEMENT, AS TO HOW FAST THE CD HAS MADE A COMPLETE TURN AROUND IN OUR CHILD.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE IN OUR CIRCLE.

TO  EVERYONE WE MEET IN THE STREET WHO SEEMS TO BE LOOKING FOR HELP, OR ANSWERS, OR EVEN PRAYING TO GOD FOR HIS ASSISTANCE.

He had no allergic reaction to anything. What a major blessing.

Subject: Using Byonetics with 6 year old

Hi Radha,

I am writing to you in response to Mr. Genet's request for parents to contact you about their experience with the Byonetics program.

My family has been on the journey to heal our very handsome and charming 6 year old boy for about 3 1/2 years.  We believe he sufferediinjury from having too many vaccinations at once around age 1, he then regressed from typical development, and was in a "zone" from ages 1-3 until we started to get help for him.

We have tried many biomedical interventions with some success and some failure, but came to the conclusion around a year ago that we need to stop trying to "recover" our son vs. working towards helping him to "heal".  While many of the recovery methods worked well - let's use certain supplements as an example - they only aid when being used and mask many of the great qualities of our little one.  By changing our focus to more holistic methods and being less rushed to "fix" our cherished child, we are more pleased with his progress.  And it is a slower rate of progress honestly, yet it seems his personality and unique traits are being complimented vs. hidden.

Just a few things about our son, (I could of course talk about him all day!) he is suspected to be in the autism spectrum and has sensory processing disorder.  Physically he looks very healthy, but he has major gastrointestinal trouble; about two years ago he had a colonoscopy/endoscopy procedure done to clear an 85% blockage of waste :(  He speaks primarily using echolalia, but he seems to understand a good portion of what is said to him.  His fine motor skills like writing are very far behind his peers, though he is social with familiar peers and adults.  We are very pleased that he is slowly getting better with things and is more adaptive, though we try not to do any interventions that are too extreme.

This brings me to how I found Byonetics and why I would say it is definitely worth a try.  I happened to run across a group of parents online who had great things to say about the CD's and then mentioned it to my son's chiropractor - who has a holistic, sensory based program - who also said it sounded like it may make a difference.  We started using the CD's about 5 weeks ago and my son seems to be calmer, has less unpredictable outbursts, and a more sound sleep.  For the first time in about 3 years, he woke up without me having to greet him and get him up.  He was very casually playing with toys and looked very pleased doing it.  I also appreciate the way Jean Genet sends information our way and connects parents.  He seems genuine and the parents who share information continue to pass along valuable information.

I hope this is of some help to you.  Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns!

Take care,

Crystal

Hi Radha,

This is in response to Jean,s request for a response to help in your deceision to Byonetics. I can't sing enough of Jean's ingenuinty in his reserch in byonetics for kids with autism.  I have a 6 year old son, diagnosed with ASD in 2008. I jumped on the wagon of different supplements, gfcf diet, speech, and behavioural help for my son. Not to dispute the effficacy of these interventions, they were a temporary fix. Infact I had my son on IV chelation for 5 months, and at the moment is on suppository chelation every 3 days and off 11days. My son does socialize with people he's familiar with, his speech is echolalic, and did have great deal of outbursts prior to starting byonetics January 31, 2011.  Just few weeks into the cd, I noticed major changes. My son had always slept in my bed since the age of 2, which resulted in my husband and I  sleeping in separate beds and room to accommodate him,  but few weeks(1-2 weeks) of the cd, my son started sleeping in his bed alone, not requiring myself or my husband to remain in the room until he slept.  He looks forward to listening to "water cd", he calls it every night and requests to go to bed at exactly 9pm his bed time every night. His speech has exploded from the repetitive to more question and answer communication, even his teachers were amazed at what they're seeing and hearing. Social skills has improved a lot, so much that he asks to want to join the neighbourhood kids to play outside, although we're very cautious in letting him free since sence of safety awareness is next to nothing. He does throw ocassional tantrums, and spontaneous or abrupt hitting, but that has reduced significantly. I am very happy that I finally joined and decided to purchase the cds, I like you I pondered about it for a very long time, even speaking to Jean a couple of times before deciding about it. I can't thank Jean enough for this ingenuinety, and his willingness to share with us all ways to heal our precious and most cherished ones. Take it from somebody that was skeptical for over a year, believe you'll have nothing to lpose but everything to gain.

God bless you Jean, and may he continue to work through you to reach out to every one of us in this battle that seem to have consumed the world. God bless every parent out there that has sacrificed everything to help their most preceious gifts in trying to find a cure to this terrible ailment. Hats off to you all.

Hi,

I started these CDs almost a year ago, and I have a completely different (in a good way) child now.
I think this was the best investment in my life and this certainly was the most beneficial one for my son as well.
He started talking more and used words and simply phrases  appropriately a few days into listening to these CDs. He asks for it  and calls it "music" whatever that means, i really do not care as long as he is happy... and he is happy, sleeps well and function much better at school and in society. The Cd for my self  and the environment is a God blessing, keeps us calm, and the best night sleep i got when I have the sleeping Cd play in my room. i actually feel rested when I wake up.

These Cds are great for the whole family. Take it from me, b/c i am very sceptical about everything and anything. Another great advantage is that you will be part of a support group where your questions be answered and get good tips. OMG that is just awesome.
Thank you parent group, and first and foremost thank you jean for creating these CDs.

Subject: My opinion on the Byonetics CD's

Hello Jean!

I just wanted to write a little info on my experience with the CD's!

We began using the CD's in January of this year.  My son (4 1/2 years old) has had some good responses to the program.  He is a very active and disconnected little boy!! About 5 weeks after beginning the CD's we saw him SLOW down in his activity levels (which was GREAT).  His eye contact improved..which he had NO eye contact prior to the the disks.  Another several weeks passed and we noticed he became a bit more stemming..lots of jumping and spinning.  After about another month the new stemming corrected itself and he seemed to be even calmer and more connected to the world.  He has become much more verbal and actually has had some real conversations.  He is VERY self contained and lives in his own little "world" that is very calming to him.  We have noticed that he has begun to open up and come out of his "world" into ours.  We have been very excited and impressed with the things we have seen in the past 6 months.  We have tried SOOOOO many different things to try to help our little guy get comfortable in his own skin and this is the first and best thing that really has made any kind of real impression of improvement on his issues.  It was very hard to commit to the price of this program as I had felt we have spent sooo much money on things that did not improve our situation.  This has really impressed me and I look forward to continuing on the program to see what happens in the future.  I am so impressed with these that I would purchase them again if I had to!!  Other family members  and friends have commented on our little boy and asked what we are doing because he seems so much more connected than other times they have seen him.:)

On another note...I also have a 15 year old son that was diagnosed with Asberger's Syndrome in second grade.  Without me knowing he began listening to the CD's at bedtime each night.  He has told me he feels sooo much happier and at peace inside his body.   He has been listening to the program for about 2 months and does not want to miss a night.

I wanted to thank Jean for all he does to help this sweet children.

Hi Jean,

I do have good news for you about my Billy. Today I had a meeting with Billy's speech pathologist.
He is totally amazed by Billy's burst in vocalizing vowels and constances, 2 and 3 syliable words. He is really exploding with trying to vocalize in all aspects.. WOW!! that is all thanks to your cd's.

A year ago this month you told me you couldn't tell me how long it would take Billy to start talking and now one year later he is working very hard to acomplish this.

Last Sept BIlly started high school back in our district. New classsroom and new teacher (First Male teacher) and he loves him. Billy 's teachers from the helpers to the speech and OT cannot believe how much Bily has grown since last Sept. I told them at our first IEP metting about Jean's therapy and how much Billy had accomplished just in a matter of 2 months.

Today was such an rewarding day for me, as a mom. I can tell you that because of Jean's therapy. I see my son happy with no crying spells. After 13 yrs of gluten diet Billy is no longer alergic to wheat or diary. I have been truly blessed with Jean.

Thanks Jean.

You will be a special "Angel In HEAVEN".

God truly gave you all this knowledge to share and you have done him PROUD.

Hi Jean,

Just wanted to update you on Danny's progress so far.

He has been listening to the CD's for 4 months now. When he started he wasn't able to use the toilet.
Now he let's us know he has to poop and then just goes by himself in the toilet.

Another big improvement is that he's not scared of the vaccum cleaner anymore. Now, as part of his chores,
he cleans up sometimes.  He actually requests to clean up a mess with the vaccum.

He is being more vocal and pointing a lot more to show us what he wants.  He repeats a lot of what we tell him.

We are so excited on how far along he's come in just 4 months. Can't wait to see he does next.

Thank you so much for your help!

Subject: Luke's Story on Byonetics

Jean,

I wanted to take a minute to tell you about how Luke is doing on the CDs. It has been a little over a month now that we have been listening to them, and I wanted to wait until I was certain what we were seeing was consistent. As a very active parent and advocate, I have seen, heard, tried almost everything there is to help my son. Most of the time we would get progress, then regression, then progress. There are so many factors involved with trying to detox our kids and get their guts to heal, the communication delays and tantrums, it's overwhelming! I can't imagine how parents who aren't doing Biomed must feel - at least Luke has been recovering tremendously well. Anyway, I've known about your program for a few years and didn't decide until about 6 weeks ago to go ahead and start it after reading so many testimonials from your parents. We got the cds and began to play one each night as you suggested, and the environmental cd is on all the time.

Week one, Luke seemed to be calmer, more focused. This was his last week of school, so he did very well with the changes in schedule. Teachers noted he seemed to be in a better mood as well. More eye contact. Still some tantrums, but he regrouped quickly. Some aggression, but not as much.

Week two, Luke started humming, not sure where it came from but a happy humming so not a bad thing. Still very hyper, but more related to a yeast outbreak I believe than anything else. And summer break started, so might have been just boy stuff. A lot more compliant with learning aids at home. Less meltdowns. Seems to be understanding what I tell him more and mnore.

Week three - explosion in language. Now he is much more interactive. Still climbing the walls, but now it is evident he is only doing it when I am distracted by the phone. Otherwise he is calm and happy. More expressive language. He said "happy" and knew what he was saying. Following directions, counting, colors, really excited about knowing what we are doing next. (Yeast is better now too - thank goodness!)

Week four - now he is spelling words with his Boggle Jr set - actually understanding that letters go together to form words. I am seeing the beginning of phonetics comprehension. He is coming out of his shell. Also, it has been nearly impossible to get him to sleep all night in his own bedroom. He has begun to go in there on his own now. Daddy's birthday came and I told him how old daddy was and showed him how many that was (Luke is 4 and my husband is 47) We called Daddy at work and Luke said "Happy Birthday Daddy - 47!" Then he counted to 47. I nearly fell over.

Week five - Luke actually went into his room and turned the cd on all by himself. He's still having some minor meltdowns but they are nothing like they used to be. He was actually very aggressive when we started the cds - hitting, kicking, headbutting (and screaming) were frequent responses from him when he didn't get his way. He has calmed down a lot - now and then he gets upset, he has just downgraded to light pinching when he is mad. This is a major improvement.

Luke still has a long way to go, but I really feel the cds are helping him. I am excited about seeing him continue to improve. I want to say that I do believe the sound frequencies along with the water are helping to ground him somehow, and I think he knows it too. I can't wait to hear what he has to say next!

I know that several of the parent had requested information that I offered, and I want to apologize for the delay in getting you this testimony. This is the longest I have even been on the computer since my last email to the group. When I sent that out I was still grinding his supplements and force feeding them to him. The amazing thing is that for the last ten days he has actually begun to take his pills and swallow them with juice. All because I had a conversation with him and tolhim if he did that he wouldn't have to taste them. I didn't think it would work. Well, it did! So I am going to sit down and write out his entire supplement regimen to share - because I really feel it is working for him. I will send that out separately from this email. Thanks for the patience!

God bless,

Tia Severino

Hi Jean,

Just an update on Luke (8yrs).. he is doing awesome!! He has started 3rd grade, he is completely verbal (he graduated out of speech last year, he talks so much, it's crazy!)He has also graduated out of PT as well!.  He has a "one on one" aide and is in a mainstream classroom and still gets OT and Social Work. He goes to Tae Kwon Do three times a week and it has really helped with his behavior, focus and discipline. He sleeps 10 hours a night and still listens to the CD's!!

All in all, we feel that he is approx. 90% healed and we couldn't be happier!!

Thank so much for everything you do, we think you're the best!

One of the most heart wrenching things I have experenced as my son Justin (18) was growing up was whenever I left him in daycare or getting on his bus for school, I would always wave goodbye. He would not. Last night just between the two of us I waved at him. He looked at me and began waving back at me!!! I screamed for his sister to come quick. He continued to wave and watch the door (oh my goodness that's a miracle too!) until his sister came in to see for herself! He continued to wave! Glory to God, Jean is a genius! We have been listen to your super cd for two weeks now. He is non- verbal and we sometimes think we hear him say something, but only once every three to five months. This past weekend, I was laying in bed and my husband was working at his desk. Which faces a way that you can't see who is behind you until you turn around. My son Tristan got out of bed walked in our room, stood behind dad and said hi dad. My husband didn't look at first and said hi Leif which is our six year old. I said it isn't Leif. We were both in shock that it was so clear that we thought it was our other son. My husband still is unsure if it is because of your cd but I will keep playing it and see if anything else happens.

Thanks,

Halfway in, he spontaneously stopped, leaned over to see the bus, and then put his hand up and waved. Indeed a miracle!

Also interesting is his 7 yr old brother who sleeps in the same room is benefiting. His speech has been delayed and choppy. He's speech is now flowing!

Hello Jean,

My son Brett is 11 and has High Functioning Autism. We have seen steady improvement since we stopped listening to our no-nothing pediatrician 6 years ago.  (We now have a wonderful family practitioner.) We saw a DAN doctor for about three years, and then started homeotoxicology about 2 years ago.

Six months ago, Brett started listening to the CDs. He is in a regular 5th grade classroom, but right before he started the CDs, his classroom teacher and team suggested taking Brett out of the class more for one-to-one instruction since the classroom atmosphere was very stressful for him.  It was the right decision, as he became much calmer and more comfortable at school.  This school year he has transitioned to the middle school, so we put the same program in place.  However, he has been staying in the classroom! Yesterday, I received this from his classroom teacher:

Just an FYI Brett is doing a terrific job at school.  He works hard and sometimes becomes so engrossed that breaks are delayed.  He has connected with some of the kids and actually is trying to seek them out.  Today he was on the rug in anticipation of the morning meeting and stayed with us for about 5 minutes.  During that time the children talked to him and he answered some of their questions!

As you can imagine, we are thrilled.  I attribute this major improvement to the CDs. Brett's auditory processing and speech have improved, which makes it easier for him to connect with both the material and the kids in the classroom.

Thank you so much!

Marilyn

Hi jean/all

My son riley just turned five. In the last year he has improved so much, but the last two months we have seen the most improvement. Thats when we started the super cd. (I can't afford the cd set yet.)

His attention has dramatically increased, he looks at us when we call his name! He follows directions very well now too. We say "riley, time to eat, go to the table" and he listens and goes.

He is starting to learn to ride his bike, which means so much to me. A year ago I thought I would never get to teach him to.

He is also starting to dress himself recently. I give him his pants and he puts them on.

All in all his progress has tremendously improved since starting the super cd. He is still non verbal, but once in a while we hear him say a word. I can't wait to get the cd set to see improvements from that! Thanks jean and your team!

Also, wish there were a place on your site or something for us all to share pictures and videos and stories of our children accomplishing things, maybe you could create something?

Hello Mr. Genet,

I wanted to give you a quick update on Jake.  He is still making progress, I can actually see the "reliving the autism experiences" taking place, as he is initiating and carrying out programs that we worked on in the past that we put on hold due to lack of acquisition.  He also used to cup his hand over his eyebrow when he returned my gaze at breakfast time (the eye contact seemed sort of painful, but desired at the same time), now he stares at me with a big smile, all discomfort gone. He is making progress with emotional balance in different  situations, he made it through his fall party at school with only one sensory break.  Other changes are there. but they're subtle, it's hard to put your finger on what exactly has changed, but there has been a positive change.  At the same time he is experiencing a lot of oral stimming. He is chewing all his action figures, and yesterday had a meltdown that lasted about forty minutes.  We're not sure if it was the weekend, (first a fall party at school, then a Halloween party at a Club with the grandparents, then an all day excursion with grandma) or if it was related to something else.

Thanks for everything,

Rhonda

All his therapists are saying he is working at 70% as opposed to 25-40% before. Lots of eye contact and new sounds...not words yet but new sounds none the less. Probably the most heart tugging is that he started dancing with his twin sister to the hokey pokey the other night. My husband and I almost broke are necks scrambling for the video camera!

we are seeing differences in our son Ved. He is calmer, less aggressive, and he plays with other kids on and off some days in school, that he never did before. Thank u so much.

regards
his mom,

Subject: Toothpaste

Hi Jean!

I just wanted to send out a HUGE "Thank You!" to all that commented on the "toothpaste and mouthwash" delimma I was having!  It took me several days to read what everyone posted!  I was very overwhelmed at all the suggestions that were posted! (not a bad thing, just realllllly surprised at how many people would help and how many different things people have tried and use!)  Thank you all so much for the advice and I look forward to speaking with more people and I hope I can help in the future as well!

SINCERELY,

Denise

Subject: Alan is more calm

Alan is more calm runs around less is more focused with more speech.

We went to his concert last night. He stayed by me didn't run away,
told me to go to concert.

Put his new uggs on without being told. He kept the beat to the drums and stopped when
he was supposed to. I could not take my eyes off of him. He followed direction very well.

His band instructor said he did very well. Usually he was silly in band practice. There is alot
of noise in band practice.

Alan is also sleeping better. No more up half the night, playing with toys.

Thanks,

Aimee

I just got our CD's yesterday - Thank you so much.... I was really surprized as our daughter started listening right away....I put a CD in just to see how it sounded and she stoped what she was doing and came over to listen...She even put her ear right up to listen.... Last night was the first time she used it at bed time and she had a great sleep in until 8:15 this morning...She is always up at 6:00 - 7:00am  doesn't matter what time I put her to bed.....This morning her mood seemed so much better too....I pray it keeps getting better - I just can't thank you enough...

As well, I have misplaced my receipt, can you please email me a copy - thanks.....

Have a Great Day

Subject: Update on Luke

Hi Jean

Luke started the Byonetics CDs in May this year. We decided to homeschool this year and focus on therapy to help with behavior. He is using a lot of language now and initiating appropriate play activities.

Tonight was very exciting because he said grace with me at the dinner table. This is the first time he has ever done that. We look forward to more improvements ... thanks Jean!

Tia

I can well understand  your feelings with Luke. I only write occasionally but you touched me with your simple eloquence. Elijah, our social, happy, "well adjusted" seventeen year, was a hand for us for years until Jean and his team came into our lives. The day following his listening to our first cd, Elijah was responding differently even to the point of voluntarily hugging me as he said " I love you, Daddy". I thank our Lord daily for the blessing of Jean Genet. Out of the darkness of the night of despair into the marvelous light of the day of Hope, Ben

Hi Jean

I must say I can see increased speech in our 9 year old son after starting on the Super CD. His pronounce is not yet correctly, but I am so proud of our sons improvement after we started on the byonetics program February 2011. There is still "issues" that need to be trained and established for him, but the progress has been so good. After school started in august, his teacher noticed a remarkable progressionJ

Thanks for all resources you have done (and still doing) on how to end autism.

Merry Christmas

Subject: First update on Sarah

My 11 year old daughter, Sarah, is diagnosed with severe autism and labeled nonverbal although she says a few words here and there. She's been listening to the CDs since June 1, 2011. We were noticing only mild improvements that could have been attributed to normal growth and development, so I decided to purchase the bridge CD a couple of weeks ago. She has sleep dysfunction and even when sleep deprived, she awakens around 6:00 a.m.  This morning she slept until nearly 10:00 a.m.!!  This has not occurred before, so we're hopeful that she is finally responding to your program. I'll keep you updated.

Take care,

Barbara O'Donnell

Dear Jean,

Thank you very much for your product which I and my wife and also Mustafa our son 3.5 years old experienced last night ( we all sleep together on bed) . I played the Cd 2 hour before sleep and it was irritating in the beginning as there was change in your environment but then i told my wife to visualize this sound as this is coming from green thick forest and water river is flowing and you are hearing the noise of water flow. I kept the player on repeat mode it was on all night, and Mustafa slept like a baby last night. 9 Hour passed he must be still sleeping may be, because I am in the office at the moment now. Mustafa look 2 juice for drink last night before sleep as he dont like much drinking, he dont drink water at all and we use to give him apple juice which he consume 4 to 7 packs.

I was calm all night sleeping near water fall and went 2 time to bathroom to pass urine.

Regards,
Hammad Rashid

Subject: 2nd and 3 day Experience of Byonetics

Dear Jean,

Sorry for not responding yesterday (Friday), is my weekend. I spend most of the time with my son. In afternoon I took him to play area, on the way he said words of Bye several times. He usually was saying this word few often but not that much frequently. He enjoyed at play area and after few moments he ran away from play area and was lost. For a moment I was very afraid and my wife was so worried and her tears came off. I try here and there to find him they some buddy told me he went that way. He took a u turn and came back to play area. Then he started playing again at play area. There we found him playing and we were calm now.
After that I took him to supermarket. We usually carry him in a shopping trolley and pointed his figure in front of apples and Yes he said apple. I asked the supper market assistant to wash one and immediately give to him. He took couple of  bites and return her mother.

In the evening in the car he said 1,2 and 3. Which he never said it before his voice tone was not clear but I realized the similar tone as I am observing him too much. This we use to say him during trowing a ball to him.

Yes indeed Byonetics is working i guess thanks for you. He is getting his words back and also trying to use frequently. He is also in decampment of learning new words now i guess.
I will play the environmental CD all day long when Mustafa is sleep change the Cd to Byonetics according to day then as the CD is completed will change to Environmental CD again.
We usually sleep at 11 o clock and mustafa is no more waking up in the middle of night. I guess this is due to he feel relax in the byonetics.

Thank you Gean again. Wonderful CD's I hope he get well soon after his new brother comes in this world which is expected in the starting of March although we are trying very hard.

Regards,
Hammad Rashid

Subject: Jake

I have been trying to find a few minutes to write and update you on Jake's progress.  He is still having good days at school, he's still calm and happy, and it's easier for him to calm himself down when the unexpected happens.  One other thing that I realized a few days ago, and it's pretty BIG, Jake no longer masturbates.  Before he started listening to the CD's it was a pretty big issue.  If he had any down time, that was he preferred way to fill it.  When he was five, we went on Prozac for a month, hoping for all the changes I have just described,  it was the worst month of all our lives.  When I first read about your CD's online I was skeptical to say the least, but something about it kept niggling at me, so just to silence that thing I ordered the Super CD, after we saw the changes it brought, we dug deep, and ordered the rest of the Program.  So my advice to anyone who hesitates is to order the Bridge or Super CD, keep an open mind, and experience changes you never dreamed would come from them.  If Jake gets nothing more from the CD's, and I hope and pray that progress continues, they have been well worth the investment.

Thank you Jean, for all you have done for my very special child,

Rhonda Claverie
